Enjoyed it while it worked 8/19/2012 7:10:51 PM

Pros: When the device worked it gave good performance. I was able play games Skyrim on mid-high settings with solid FPS.

Cons: It died. It worked fine for a few months then I started having games lockup. At first it was only the games and I could simply kill the game in task manager and restart. No problem. Now it is to the point that most games I play will lock up the entire computer within 30 minutes of use.

Key Failure is the customer service. I have spent about 6 hours on hold to date trying to jump through their flaming hopes to get this sorted out and have nothing to show for it. Also check their website on their RMA policies. It mostly several pages of reasons why then won't service an RMA.

Overall Review: Spend the extra money and go with a company that actually cares about providing customer support in case something isn't right.

BLAZING in more ways than one 12/10/2011 11:10:52 AM

Pros: x2 in SLI - these things are amazing and running very smooth with zero stuttering. Overclocked to 750 core, 1500 shaders, 1703 memory, stock voltage - it's easily pumping out BF3 on stock ultra settings @ 1920x1200. Temps are under control at these clocks during gaming (77c). Seamless install with absolutely zero problems to date.

Cons: Having trouble getting the memory much higher than 1700 at stock volts. Upping the voltage makes a LOT more heat and it's not really worth it in this SLI configuration. Do not SLI these cards without lots of ventilation - I tested each card in a mini tower before installing in the main rig and I was forced to run an open case to keep temps reasonable. Cost cutting shows in the cheap plastic shroud and no back plate, however the performance is good enough to ignore those details.

Overall Review: i5-2500k stock clocks, Asrock Ex4Gen3, 8GB Gskill Sniper 1866, Crucial M4 128, Corsair 600R case (lots of fans). These cards are the beating heart of my gaming rig and they punish every game I can throw at them.

Nice Card 11/26/2011 2:52:00 AM

Pros: Great little card for the price. I'm running it along with a EVGA GTX 470 and this card is much quieter at full fan speed.

Cons: The housing feels cheap. It seems like the plastic isn't as think as the other 470 I own, make sure your careful when handling and installing.

Malfunction 11/16/2011 6:45:27 PM

Pros: The card performs very well 60 steady FPS in full HD ultra settings Skyrim.

Cons: The card runs hot, while trying it system stability with Furmark the temp just kept rising beyond what is was when gaming. Idling around 60C and going up to above 85C would have kept going had I not stopped it. Though I have heard these cards run hot. It crashed on me like many others giving me whitesquares that changed color to red and green and system froze needing a manual restart. No overclocking or changes to electricity. No probs with my 8800GTX same system settings.

Overall Review: If you have a new motherboard with very compatible ram then it might work out for you. But I bought good old EVGA instead 560Ti superoverclocked 40 idle and 60 underload of Skyrim same settings.

Sweet graphics card! 11/3/2011 10:45:30 AM

Pros: 448 CUDA cores, it's the premium GC version, snap out fan to clean the heatsink easier, reviews show this card runs 5C-10C cooler than reference cards, a lot of overclocking headroom, 320-bit memory, I'm a sucker for LED fans :3

Cons: Uses a bit more power than I like it would. But it's not a big issue.

Overall Review: It's cheaper than a 560 Ti, but a 560 Ti just edges this card out. People mention that but they forget that the 560 Ti has 384 Cores versus 448. It's a case of the 560 Ti being highly overclocked that it's able to edge out a GTX 470. However, if you overclock the GTX 470 just slightly, it can outmatch the 560 Ti easily. For even better results try this thing at 800MHz! It should rival the new 560 Ti refresh that's coming soon.

Great Price, GREAT SPECS! 10/28/2011 11:24:13 PM

Pros: Speed clocks are decent
Price = DEAL
448 Cores = uber

Cons: Not a con but beware that the drivers on the CD is OUT DATED. Make sure to update so the driver won't stop most of the time.

price, performance unmatched 10/25/2011 3:54:02 PM

Pros: This card is the best gaming card on the market for 190. When over-clocked to 800mhz core, it will beat a 560ti overclocked to the max. picked it up local, because 160 after rebate was irresistible. Got the rebate too. Here it was deactivated at that time. This card will play mostly every game in 1080p nicely. I also used the galaxy gtx 465 in a build, and i was hooked. That ones been rocking since Jan. This card has 2 bios. idles at 35c. 65c max in summer, in a good case. Best card I've ever owned. You will be glad you got it. If i had sli i would get another for sure. P5100 plus on 3d mark 11. That is good, but was overclocked to get it. P4100 non over clocked system. that's what the 465 got overclocked. I can feel the hot air exhaust out the back when i put a load on it for a while.

Cons: Not a con, but last week here the galaxy gtx 480 was 200. I almost ordered it.

Overall Review: Q9550 @ 4GHZ, prime 95 stable
X650 sea sonic, single 54 amp +12 volt rail
storm scout
4 gb hyper X pc8500 ddr2
25 " inc 1080p monitor
Win7 32bit
GTX 470
Don't settle for anything weaker and more expensive.
make sure your psu has 36 amps on the +12 volt rail combined.

windows 7 64-bit update 4/14/2011 1:37:13 PM

Pros: This a follow up to my previous review. I upgraded from XP to Windows 7 64-bit and the card was recognized by Windows 7 without any problems. I am currently using Geforce 266.58 drivers. The Windows 7 step-up also made an improvement in the graphics quality. You do really see more effects using the newer Direct X 11.0 compared to XP's Direct X 9.0. It still runs quiet. I am really happy with this purchase (got it only for $209 after rebate) and am adding an egg !

Cons: I said in my earlier review that the fan and heat sink was too big that it was covering the two PCI slots beside it but I think the motherboard manufacturers should take this into account and make sure they give the PCI-E 2.0 slot enough space so that video cards wouldn't be covering neighboring slots.

Overall Review: Looks like Newegg has ran out of stock of this card. If you find it at others stores at a good price (or if Newegg gets new stock) snatch it and you wont regret it !
