I was wondering if I want to play in 1440p with maxed out settings should I get the 5070 or 5070 ti also I don’t really care about price here just want to know what would be better for my situation

Welcome! What CPU are you using? 2560 × 1440 or 3440 x 1440?

Since you specifically want 1440p at max settings and price isn’t a concern, get the 5070 Ti. The regular 5070 has only 12 GB of VRAM on a 192-bit bus, compared with 16 GB and a 256-bit bus on the 5070 Ti. It also has 672 GB/s of memory bandwidth versus 896 GB/s on the Ti. The 5070 will run 1440p well today, but 12 GB is not what I’d choose for long-term max settings, especially as texture quality and ray tracing demands continue increasing. The 5070 Ti gives you considerably more headroom.

Agreed, the RTX 5070 Ti is the one to get. I know it’s a jump in price, that the performance will get what you are asking for
1440p with ray tracing is considerably better on a 5070 Ti than it is on a 5070. Since you said “maxed out” we assume you mean with ray-tracing enabled, so the Ti is the better choice here.
