I have a 9850x3d in a 870e with a 9070xt. The full build proposal is in the link above. What are the greatest issues with this build? Bottlenecks? Reliability? Overpaying?
Last year, I would have recommended 64Gb, but 32Gb is still perfectly capable. 9070XT is good value for the money. With an X3D chip, your CPU will never be the bottleneck for gaming performance. You could even bring down the CPU to even it out if you want and still reach similar performance.
I like the build! 9850X3D is a lot of CPU for the 9070XT simple answer is great at 1440p but a 10%+ GPU bottleneck at 4K but even the 9700X bottlenecks the 9070XT at 4K I’d keep 9850X3D & 9070XT You can also upgrade the GPU years later I do have a suggest about the monitor This one had much better Display Colors & Response Time and is curved(pro/con) for $20 more
