After installing the video card, I don`t have an image on the screen (black screen)

Hi. I need your help. I bought all new spare parts and assembled the computer. When I connect the cable directly from the motherboard, the screen works, but when I install the video card and connect the cable from the video card, I have a black screen. Has anyone faced such a problem?

UPDATE
Thank you all for your feedback. Everything started working fine after I pressed the C-Mos buttons on the back of the motherboard. Take care of yourself and be healthy.

motherboard - MSI Z890 Carbon WI FI
video card - Msi VANGUARD rtx5070 12GB

Have you checked the power to the gpu, checked the gpu seating, looked in bios and set it for PCIE instead of auto or igpu, done the drivers, or put the gpu into another pc?

Do the fans come on when you start the pc and the GPU posts? when you say all new spare parts, do you mean used? Do you have access to another video card to put in the computer and try that?

Welcome Hovo! I would check the 12VHPWR power cable very easy no to seat it fully. also check PSU cables make sure your running 2 separate cables into the adapter. is it a MSI PSU? if so try the use the yellow tipped cable that came with it. If you’re using it try using the one that came with the 5070

I’m running 5070 Gaming Trio White & don’t care for the Nvidia adapter Hope it helps!

So many helpful people here! Love to see it. It would be helpful if you posted more about your build in general. What parts are you using? Are all of the parts new? You could try using known working parts and slowly switch out to the new parts. We look forward to hearing more from you next time you log on to the Gamer Community!
