I’m very interested in becoming a streamer and need a solid recommendation for a good webcam. Anyone have any suggestions? No budget currently.
Do you have the required hardware? Such as a chapter card like one of these?:
And do you have all the required software too? Like obs studios? If not, than you need to get those things to. I’m pretty sure that obs studios is free but if you don’t have a capture card than you’ll need to get one. The capture cards thar I listed both record at 1080p 60hz. (Which is normal for streaming). The reason the the first one says 4k is because it’s meant to be used with a console like a Nintendo switch 1/2 or a Xbox to record gameplay on those consoles. The second one is more for what you want it for, it only has two connectors so it’s not confusing what plug goes were and is compact. But the first one allows you to put audio into the recording instead of into your computer (which simplifys things a lot). The first one also allows you to see what is on (if you use a camera) your camera on a monitor, which you might like. And if I was buying a capture card than I would get the first one. But if you already have a capture card than that’s great! As for the Webcam, you can technically go with any camera that has a hdmi output. Especially since you’ll probably be using a capture card that records at 1080p 60hz. But I did a quick search on Amazon and I think that these are good options:
Those are some options that are from reputable sellers. But now that I’m looking I’m not sure if you need a capture card. But if you have a camera already you could just get a capture card and Use the camera that you already have. And If you have ether a asus phone or laptop than you could use a app called glideX to ues your phone as a webcam for free. Hope this helps!
