Hello Everyone!

I been having alot of trouble playing games because my old headset keeps cutting out and the sound is really bad. Sometimes i cant hear my friends talking and the mic keeps glitching so they cant hear me either. It kinda ruins the whole game and makes me annoyed. I tried fixing it but it still dont work right. So i decided i need to buy a good gaming headset so i can hear everything clear and actually enjoy playing again.

If you already have a desk mic connected to a boom arm I suggest a headset like the beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO as it has good audio as it is a studio grade headset but its still good for use when gaming and editing. However if you have a headset with a mic connected to the headset I would suggest another headset such as the hyperx cloud 3 which has a detachable mic and is pretty comfortable and has good audio and is both available in wired and wireless.

[/quote]I’d probably focus on the microphone and comfort first, especially if you’re playing for a few hours at a time. A headset can have great sound, but if the mic keeps cutting out or the earcups get uncomfortable, it gets annoying pretty quickly.

For competitive gaming, I’d also look for clear positional audio and good noise isolation so you can hear footsteps and voice chat properly. Wireless can be convenient too, but I’d check the connection stability and battery life before choosing one.

I’m also looking at a couple of other gaming headsets myself, so I’ll compare those with the two you mentioned before deciding. It would be interesting to hear from anyone who has actually used these models for gaming.
