Hello! I don’t know much about pcs but I know it’s time to upgrade. My current gpu is a Nvidia 2070 super, and everything runs super slow and I want to upgrade to windows 11 aswell. My budget is around 1600. I was looking at the ABS Flux 2 Ruby Gaming pc with the AMD Ryzen 5 9600x 32Gb. But I see it is all sold out. Is there anything super similar or any other prebuilts you guys would recommend? ( I also play a lot of video games such as valorant )
That particular PC was a really good deal. Here’s a few that are similar unfortunately a little more money. In general you wanna stay away from the 5000 series CPUs they’re good for now but it’s really on a dead platform (AM4). if you’re going with AMD you really wanna be on a 7000 or 9000 series CPU (AM5), they having much better upgrade path in the future. I’m not sure your budget but the final PC has a 7800x3d chip which if you’re going to be using it for gaming is absolutely fabulous, x3d chips are top-tier for gaming will be relevant for years. If that’s out of your budget though the other two will perform well in games like Valorant and they’re still highly upgradeable for the future.
when you go looking, if you don’t like these you could probably get away with 16 GB of RAM for now but I would definitely not get a GPU with 8GB of V-RAM. Even if you wanna upgrade later to 32GB it’s a lot easier to do than replacing the other components. That said all of these have pretty much the same specs or better as that PC that sold out.
