Fragpunk Review - a suuuper unique take on the shooter genre. w game. slightly buggy

Overview: the creative direction the game took really felt cool to play. love the managed randomness. the menu seems a bit too much, and not everything is explained well

Gameplay: VERY refreshing. Love the 1v1’s tie breakers. Love game breaking rules and a nice selection of guns. the… “agents?” had unique abilities that were fun to play out.

Graphics: Break visuals and splashy colors. I enjoyed it.

Bads: Optimization issues. Had to restart a few times and encountered a few game breaking bugs that ruined the experience. overall not too bad though…

TLDR: Great gunplay, sound, and visuals with SUPER CREATIVE rule breaking systems. Slightly buggy. Honestly enjoyed playing

I’ve played Fragpunk. I’d generally agree w/ everything you said. I’d add in that it seems like I was able to buy guns without restrictions most times. But sometimes I wasn’t able to get the gun I wanted and wasn’t sure why.

I love fragpunk, I also agree with you about everything but how you say it is buggy. I have never gotten any bugs in the game but I would say that fragpunk should improve the bots they have, I will sometimes have to spectate them and it is just painful to watch them get stuck in every corner and try to jump over everything.
