You should call your local internet service providers. We are not your local area.

I don’t understand.

Here’s a scenario to help you out.

Your Internet providers give you 10 Mb of download speed. That’s not good. You need to talk to your internet service provider to increase that download speed.

If you get 1 Gb download speed from your internet service provider. Then you need to make sure your gigabit ethernet card can run at 1 Gb speed.

Let me get home and go a bit more in depth

My ISP gives internet speeds of up to 2,000 Mbps (2 Gbps)

take a look at this

Should work for your Dell as long as you have a free PCIE slot

Ok, thanks very much.

Doesn’t your computer support up to 1 Gbps already? Plug an Ethernet cable into the computer, you shouldn’t need to upgrade anything.

I am already using an ethernet cable.

What speed are you paying for from your ISP? Have you done a speedtest of the internet speed?

I am probably wrong, but you should be fine unless you’re not paying for 1Gbps

Yes, I am paying my ISP for 2 gigabit (2 Gbps) internet speed. Speed test results is Download Mbps 856.99 Upload Mbps 836.00
