I would like opinions on budget-friendly PC options for beginner gamers

I am starting with gaming, and I currently only play Palworld and Lockdown Protocol on my laptop.
I see a few pre-built options on Newegg that are super affordable (<$300), but I am also worried about getting something that does not run as smoothly.
Thoughts?

A modern entry level prebuilds range from $800-$1200. :money_with_wings: These desktops are perfect for 1080p gaming typically having a 4060/5060 GPU or 7600/7700 GPU. To best answer your question, check the system requirements for the games and base the computer choice of those specs. If the computer will be a long term gaming, consider an AMD CPU. 1TB SSD and 32GB of RAM ideally. If needed, check videos online of the products. You got this! :100:

i love Palworld! Lockdown protocol looks really fun. Just need friends… XD

luckily those games don’t need a lot to run, but I’d spend closer to 500-600 dollars.

Just my opinion, so take it for what its worth( not much :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:) If you have the knowhow or ambition to learn build it yourself. Your money will stretch farther. Lots of good videos on youtube. Also I would save a bit more if you can. A few extra hundred dollars will get you better components that will last you longer before they are outdated and you are forced to upgrade. Be patient and search for deals.
