Make sure your TV is on channel 3 so your can see the game.

Don’t use a TV for gaming, especially if you are trying to do competitive gaming because usually TV’s have a high input latency, so use a monitor at the least, and if you what to go a step higher than I would get a gaming monitor (although I don’t think that there is much of a difference)
