Hey everybody, I’ve been a steady console user forever but it is now time to switch over to a pc. I’ve already factored in the peripherals and set my PC budget to be 1800. Currently a little over could use some feedback and suggestions

you are basicly building the same setup that I have and your gonna love it. Onlything I would suggest is a B650E board. It will have a PCIE5 slot, all the newest GPU’s can utilize it. Also, that is a B650E not B650-E they are diffrent. Not sure if you are buying now but Newegg usualy sells the 9070xt Steel Legend for $699 and its white! but its out of stock right now. They have the Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB for $719. there is not much diffrence in performance among the entire 9070xt line, your paying for looks.

some places to save some money. I noticed you have case fans in the list. I think that case comes with fans, use them for now. Also save some $ and get a 1Tb M.2 SSD. most boards have more than one slot. You can always add another latter.

You’re in good hands with a post from Viraco. The RX 9070 is going to serve you well with that CPU. Nice amount of RAM you could upgrade down the line as well. 2 Tb SSD is nice to have.

Hmmm, not bad. Cut the fans, as someone said previously. The fans included are great to start. Get fancy fans later. Pretty sure that cpu cooler has preapplied thermal paste, so cut that too. 1TB ssd to start(as previously stated), later add a 4tb and transfer your installed games. Keep the 1tb clean for OS and a few programs. I’ve seen too many sponser yt ads to know you can get Windows 11 for way less than $90. More like $30 or less. All this to spend as much as possible on raw performance at the time of first build. All the extras wont get you more frames but spending tha extra $150-$200 on a better CPU or GPU will. Later, these gains could cost much more to upgrade. How about a 9800X3D?
