First time building a pc looking for advice on my specs.

what are you going to use the computer for mostly? and would you be able to go an extra hundred dollars if it made a really big difference? I only ask because there’s some room for improvement for the same amount of money pretty much depending on what you wanna do with it.

you should buy some case fans

I mainly wanna use the computer to play Valorant, stream, and also play Call of Duty. If going an extra hundred makes a big difference for that kind of stuff, I’d be down to stretch the budget a bit.

option 1
all AMD, The GPU is a little bit slower, but you get 16 gigs of VRAM. But the CPU is the best CPU for gaming on the market right now. The motherboard is better than the one you picked. It has a PCIE5 slot and all the newest GPU’s take a little bit of advantage of and is more future proof. Same for the CPU it’s ready for a much better GPU if you ever wanna upgrade.

Option 2
Same CPU, which is the fastest gaming CPU right now and has that V cash on board. But with your Nvidia 5070 12 gig. That’s faster, but with less VRAM. both of these set ups have faster memory than what you have to.

option two is probably slightly faster than option one they’re both faster than what you got though with regards to gaming because of that X3d CPU. The 9070x would be slightly better at general productivity, and content creation though if you’re doing that. But would be killer with regards to gaming.

Yeah, I don’t really mind having lower VRAM since I usually run my games on the lowest settings anyway. Gaming performance is the main thing I care about, so as long as it runs smooth, I’m good.

well, then you want that 9800x3d over that 9700 X. It’s the fastest gaming chip on the market right now.

I already swapped out all the parts in my cart for the ones you showed, thank you for the help.

The only thing I would double check on is see if that memory is on the motherboards QLV list for compatibility. I think it is.

Where are you getting the parts you showed in the photos because on newegg everything totals to 1750

so I used the wbsite PCpartspicker it sources parts from many places, including New Egg, Amazon and micro center. don’t just restrict yourself to new egg cause they don’t always have the best deals on every part. Although they are very good most of the time. PC parts picker is also pretty good cause it’ll tell you if there’s conflict between the parts and they won’t work together. I believe all those prices were amazon on that build

ahh I see now. when i save the list it hides the supplier. ill get back to you with the suppliers later

ok here we go
