After years of eager anticipation, Team Cherry has confirmed that Hollow Knight: Silksong will finally release on September 4, 2025. The highly awaited announcement came showcasing captivating scenes of the game’s environments ranging from hauntingly atmospheric locales to bizarre new creatures suggesting a vast and richly detailed world filled with secrets. The trailer hinted at a sprawling map, possibly boasting over 200 unique enemy types and around 40 boss encounters, although some may be variations on existing themes.

According to GamesRadar, the game has been announced for 2,379 days. The Silksong reveal trailer
has 4.6 million views from 6 years ago. Some of the lucky few got their hands on the demo at Gamescom 2025. Just like Hollow Knight, we’re all expecting to see multiple DLC’s for Silksong. We just hope we don’t have to wait too long.
