what GPU should I get for a mid range build? I need help I’m very new to pcs

I like the 9060-9070 xt. What budget you lookin’ for? 5060ti-5070ti is midrange. I think.

just a tad more than you wanted to spend, but you’ll be happier in the long run
it is the cheapest 9060 XT on newegg. You may be able to find one cheaper if you hunt. I can’t recommend enough not to get an 8 GB card. And a difference between the 16 GB card and 8 GB is only 50 bucks.

i’ve heard good things about the 9060xt, but not really sure how it stacks up to the rtx 5060.

either would be a good purchase just get 16gb of vram. can not stress that enough. go with what is cheapest at the time. realisticly your not going to get any great raytracing perfomance from a 60 class card. you may be able to play the newest of the games that will require raytracing but your gonna have to turn the settings down to low to medium just the nature of the beast. what they dont tell you is either of these cards will rely on upscaling to achive high frame rates and when you purchase an 8gb card they take a real hit due to the lack of vram. the Nvidea card will be 10% faster in almost all games. so lets say game x runs at 80 fps 5060ti will get 8 more frames, you’ll never notice that. But, you will pay an extra $60-$80 for it.
