A corrupted drive.
maybe I should show that to my nephews this Halloween
I don’t know how it’s so close! A corrupted save file is not coming back but a blue screen of “death” is sometimes a trivial fix. Imo
Flashed the bios and couldn’t get the computer to turn on. It was head space and timing.
I might lose an hour or two troubleshooting a blue screen error, i might have to replace parts. At least I’m learning something.
If my save file gets corrupted, i have to start the game from the beginning? My mind doesn’t allow me to enjoy that experience.

I can mostly likely fix a blue screen where as the corrupt save file take hours to resolve or even get back to that point of the game.
I have fixed a couple blue screens but I haven’t fix a corrupt save file that cause me to restart my whole run of control on steam a year later because I couldn’t fix my corrupted save on gog.
Bsod, couldn’t bear to lose a save
