A: PS5 With 120Hz TV OR B: GT 1030 Office PC With 165Hz Monitor

Dang all the mods would rather have Console over PC… caught in 8K :camera_with_flash:

Ok but jokes aside: mods, why would you choose a PS5 w/120Hz TV instead of GT1030 PC with 165Hz Monitor? Here’s why I chose B; obviously these come “free” in this hypothetical scenario, yet… if you were to buy a PS5 for $500 now you have it free but can’t do anything with it, meanwhile with the GT1030 PC you could have just kept the Small amount of RAM and Storage (if you only play a few games) and kept the case and everything - you could have upgraded to a RYZEN 5 8400F with a RX 9060 XT or RTX 3070 Ti Or if circumstances allow, perhaps better!

This is the GT 1030, it’s just old and nowhere near the performance of a PS5. A PS5 is the latest console from Sony while the GT 1030 is too old to handle much.

Exactly that’s why I said to just use the $500 you would have used for the PS5, keep the other bad parts and just upgrade your GPU and CPU (and the PSU ofc)

This is a hilarious poll honestly.

Would you rather have a fully functional gaming setup, or a normal PC.
Keep in mind the upgrade options are severely limited on an office PC, they typically use non-standard motherboards with locked-down CPU upgrade options (Looking at you HP…) and proprietary power supplies that don’t allow for a large GPU upgrade in the future. You did say Office PC, not custom-built basic PC.
