Prebuilt or Build My Own?

I’m new to PCs but I need something that will run Marvel Rivals and Cyberpunk. I know there’s tools like Newegg PC Builder that can help but is it worth it to diy? Thanks <3

build your own it’s not all that hard and you’ll save some money or get more bang for your buck. I posted some videos on here from YouTube showing how to build your own. I’ll send a link when I get a chance.

Whoa, this is really helpful. Do you have any advice on specs? Thanks again

It depends on what you want to do, 1080p 1440p 2160p and at what refresh rate.

Yeah this is important too, what is your budget @Moonstar

$1500 but I’m pretty flexible

you could build yourself a pretty decent computer with $1500

I feel like you should build your own since it’s more of an experience when you do, I plus it’s quite easy. I got a prebuilt, took it apart, and put it back together with no prior experience.

just under $1500. this is just an example that it can be done. Although I highly recommend a 9070 XT which would push it to $1700 and change.

cyber power has a computer in this price range with very similar specs, but they consistently get a, meh review online and run hot.

another person on here just bought a prebuilt and and sent it back because it was just so so with the build quality. That person is now thinking of building their first PC.

Thermaltake makes a nice prevailPC but the example I had above is probably a tad better for the same price. But then again you do get a warranty with a pre-bill.
