what is the budget? Graphics cards were quite pricey nowadays. Do you know his current setup or can ask a freind who would know? Maybe a gaming chair if he dosn’t have one already. might be easier and cheaper.

gaming chair is a great idea. I know a friend who wore out his chair til it was on its last legs. he still refused to get a new chair lol
I’d be grateful for a new chair, but not a gaming chair, those are weird marketed chairs that are inferior to an actual nice office chair.

A graphics card is a wonderful gift idea, but you’d want to make sure it works with all his existing stuff. If you have any questions about compatibility, would you be able to find out information about his existing PC setup without spoiling the surprise?
If he doesn’t already have Xbox game pass, they sell gift cards for that, and Steam as well. Both would be great gift ideas to accompany a new GPU, so he can really put it to good use!

Great points! A GPU is definitely on my radar, but I’d love to brainstorm other options too. A gaming chair plus Xbox game pass or Steam gift card is also a smart backup plan! Thanks so much for the advice!
