I would like it to run minecraft, portal, portal 2, and hollow knight and with extra stuff. I also what performance. What do you guys think I should get and where?

At that price point, the biggest bang for your buck is probably a probably a smaller builder on Jawa. They may use some refurbished parts but you will get a more powerful PC. Although with the price of ram now it’s making it harder for those guys to build decent computers in that price range.

The hard truth is 3 months ago you could have gotten a much better PC for that price range and that stinks🫤

You could build something like this.

USED GPU

Maybe even cheaper if you cans find some more used parts.

The price of RAM now is making that sub $600 computer next to impossible now.

maybe something like this

Thanks i will take that into consideration
Any other ideas?

not really unless you can come up another couple hundred dollars. Which might be not a bad idea to save and buy something a little later it would actually get you more PC

Yeah, this computer should run those games fine, especially if you’re not planning on using mods or shaders. (I would double check the specifications for those games but I think I’m correct) My only concern is the price — for around $560, you’re buying parts that are already a few generations old. The graphics card in particular isn’t getting full support from AMD anymore, and the whole platform is basically at the end of the road. It’ll work for what you want right now, but if you can wait and save a little more, you’d be able to get a newer PC that’ll last longer and be a better value overall. That’s why I have a hard time recommending systems in this price range. Admittedly I don’t know your situation

That being said ,the MXZ is the better computer though. While it only has eight gigs of RAM it has a dedicated video card and that’s more than enough to run those games, the other computer does not. You could always upgrade the ram for “fairly” cheap being that it is DDR4. there again eight gigs should be plenty to run those games in vanilla form.(no mods, no ray-tracing)

One other idea I just had is you could wait and see how that steam machine is gonna play out. It would be more powerful than this computer but no one knows how much it’s gonna cost, speculation is $700. it seems that it’s been pushed back until the spring, maybe you can save another couple hundred dollars by then. The steam machine is really marketed towards someone in your situation.

Thanks for the information
May I run more ideas by you?

Once it restocks what do you think of this

AVGPC Max Gaming PC, AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 6-Core 4.4 GHz Max Boost, AMD Radeon Vega 7 (GPU upgrade ready up to RTX 5070), 16GB 3200MHz DDR4, 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD, Hyper 212 RGB Cooler, Windows 1

Also what are your thoughts on the second pc.

Stay away from integrated graphics for gaming. Even in the description they’re saying you should be buying a GPU. By stating that it’s ready for up to a 5070.

The second pc also has integrated graphics. So far this one is the most viable that you picked out

dont be afraid to ask questions, only way you will learn.

Thanks man that is very very helpful

Do you have any ideas if i move my price up to 650 dollars

Check out my new post for some ideas as I see whats out there for that. Any one of these would kill the previous PC’s we talked about. But you would have to build then purchase a windows key online
