What is the best way to apply this paste, I see a lot spreading manually and a lot using a pea sized amount and applying a heatsink letting the pressure spread it. What have you guys done and which is preffered?

Either way could be done but what I do is put a pea size drop in the middle. However, before I even do it that. I stick the Gelid paste into a ziplock bag and run hot water over it to make it spread easier.

Then after the paste is applied what I like to do next is after I get the heat sink fastened. I just gently rock it from corner to corner. This helps spread the paste even better across the cpu.

Question 2

How thick is this thermal paste? Is it easy to spread?

At room temperature, it comes out very thick and pastey. I try to heat up some water in a bowl in the microwave until its hot, and then put the thermal syring in the water to help heat it up. U want the water to be quite hot, but make sure its not so hot it melts the application syringe. Make sure you give the syringe + paste enough time to heat it up in the bowl, but, make sure you can actually reach in the water when youre ready to retrieve it. As in, dont touch the water if its too hot, obviously.

Question 3

What is the quantity? Is it the 3.5g (TC-GC-03-A) or the 1g (TC-GC-03-C)?
