What version is this newegg shipping? There's a 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 version of this board.  I'd think we'd all want the 1.2 which means Gigabyte got the kinks out of it.

I'm not sure which version new egg Is shipping. I bought mine several months ago and I haven't had any trouble with it whatsoever. Over clock was a breeze and everything running smoothly.

Will this work with Server Intel Xeon Processor E3 1230V2 ?

I could be wrong but I believe that the Xeon processors require ECC Registered RAM and that motherboard does not specifically state it is compatible with the Xeon series of processors. Honestly an i5 would cost about the same and provide equal performance to that series of Xeon.

Will this work with i7 2600k sandy bridge?

Yes. This board accepts LGA 1155 socket processors and the i7 2600K is packaged for the LGA 1155 socket.

Question 5

I've been searching and coming up empty on this. Does anyone know if this is SLI certified or if they have tried using two gpus in this motherboard? I bought it a year ago but it looks like I may need an upgrade if I plan to buy a second gpu. Thanks in advance.

It supports both SLI and Crossfire. Stated on Gigabyte's site for the motherboard.

yes this would be a good fit.  it would allow for moderate clocking controls and would be a good balance for the gtx 770
