Question 1

1) Does this package include an adapter plate for the back to mount into a slimline cabinet? I would need to be able to move the VGA connector to a different plate or remove it entirely.

2) The description indicates PCIe V2.0 X 8. It looks like a PCIE X 16. Will it fit a slot made for PCIe V1.1 X16.

3) Is this working well with Windows 10 Pro?

In response to Mark G.'s questions:

1) The GT 700 come with two (2) additional adapter plates for your slimline installation. One plate has only VGA the other has HDMI and DVI. So, yes, you should be able to remove the VGA D-sub and use the plate that has holes for HDMI and DVI.

2) The PCIe v2.0 x8 card will fit into your v1.1 x16 slot. Because of the design of PCIe it is both scalable and backwardly compatible. Any PCIe card can fit into a larger PCIe slot (an 8 fits a 16, a 4 fits 8 or 16, and a 1 fits in a 1, 4, 8, or 16) regardless of version (1.1, 2.0, 3.0) The card data throughput will be throttled back to v1.1 which is half of v2.0 but it will fit.

3) Regarding Windows 10. I am actively avoiding a Windows 10 upgrade, however, the GT 700 does come with Windows 10 drivers, so I am assuming that it will work with Win 10. (I would advise downloading the latest drivers from the Internet. Driver discs that come with the hardware are always out of date.)
