What is the size of the graphics card? Wondering if it will fit in my case.

Hands down the best GPU under $200 Whether you go with gigabyte sapphire or any other makes of the R9 270 you wont be disappointed. I chose Gigabyte cause it came with BF4 at the time, but any makes of the 270 will get 7.9 on windows index and run most current games on high/ultra

How good is this video card for gaming? I don't care about running things on max settings, but could I play BF4 or Titanfall with this?

100% Yes....This card has an excellent performance/price ratio. Giving you a consistent frame rate on many games. Turn v-sync on and set the setting however you like even at max, on games like War Thunder, Warframe, Mechwarrior Online, you will still get a good solid 60 FPS....I love it...it even uses less power...

Hey,

I'm looking at the pics for this card and I see two Molex-to-PCI connection cables displayed with the box, card, CD, crossfire, etc.  Does this product come with the molex cables displayed?

This Gigabyte R9 270 comes with two 6 pin PCIe to 4 pin power connectors.  So if you are using a typical power supply and have one 6 pin PCie video will need to use one adapter and plug it into 2 of the standard 4 pin power connectors on the power supply.

Would this video card be compatible with GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD GeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card? Like could I do SLI?

No. GeForce is Nvida this is AMD. AMD has "Cross Fire" Nvidia has "SLI", they are different offerings from the two companies. Like an iPhone connector won't work on a Samsung phone even tho they are both chargers. It is always best to just get the same card as the original to do SLI.

fairly quiet... I have mine pushed to max fan speed and find it is tolerable. My 290x reference card is 100 times louder... until i went crazy and finally water-cooled it.

Question 6

can this card handle 4k graphics over HDMI without mouse lag? if not which can. I only need it for CAD not gaming, so i am not looking for something expensive.

This card definitely supports 4k resolution but i'm not entirely sure it's through the HDMI signal. As for your mouse lag issues that has to do with your mouse DPI settings. Since there are more pixels on the display, you're going to need to raise your DPI.

Is this card compatible with a PCI x16 2.0?

Yes it is.  I use this card with an ASUS M5A97 R2.0 mobo which only has pcie 2.0.  Also, pcie 3.0 is completely backwards compatible.

The minimum is 600 for crossfire with the r9 270. There are also a couple variables you''ll want to consider like the wattage of your cpu. I looked up every spec of my computer before I ordered this card and did my own homework. I believe newegg has a pretty dynamite technical support team if you want them to lead you in the right direction. I love my gigabyte r9 270.

Does this support crossfire? Also, will I be able to run Dayz at 60 fps with this and a FX-6300?

Yes it does , i believe it can run Dayz at 50-60Fps cause the graphics arent as good in Dayz as Battlefield 4 well this card can run Battlefield 4 in high texture quality but sometimes the textures come in late and theres occasional texture glitches in battlefield 4 but i think it can run Dayz in high quality and pretty good fps
