WINDFORCE 2X: Anti-turbulence CoolingThe special inclined dual fan design effectively minimizes the flow of turbulence between two fans and enhances heat dissipation of hot area right underneath each fan. By unique design, WINDFORCETM 2X even enlarges air channel on the graphics card vents and creates a more effective air flow system in chassis. This special design helps heat dissipate quickly from GPU. In addition, WINDFORCETM 2X is equipped with two copper heat pipes which strengthen the speed of heat dissipation.
Ultra Durable VGAPowered by the Ultra Durable VGA technology, this card delivers enhanced overall performance you can see and feel in everyday use. The Ultra Durable VGA card doubles the copper inner layer of PCB achieving lower GPU and RAM temperature, reduces voltage ripples in normal and transient state achieving better overclocking capability, and allows more bandwidth for electron passage and reduces circuit impedance for more stable flow of current and improved power efficiency.

Pros: Powerful for the price,
Overclocks easily to 1050 Mhz Processor/1500Mhz Memory. Basically same if not better the the 270X
Cons: Needs 2(two) 6-pin power connectors(most r9 270's only require 1). This is not really a Con, because the extra power is needed to OC. Get a two molex to 6-pin adapter, any your golden, for a few bucks.
The OC Guru II software simply crashes on start-up, I don't know why, so I just did a very basic over clock using overdrive settings in CCC.
Overall Review: My case has no fans So I needed to leave the side cover off for cooling, for the time being.
At 1050/1500, temp only hit 60 degrees
Pros: Plays most new games med-high. Battlefield 4 is playable on Ultra but doesn't hit 60fps at 1920x1080 with an 8350 and 8 gigs of ram. Great card for the price I'm not complaining. Lots of OC room with the two six pin slots and two fans. I'm at 1050/1500 and I haven't seen this thing hit 70 Celsius yet. I'm impressed. So far that's been the most stable overclock for me.
Cons: Didn't come with any games. Not taking an egg away for this.
Overall Review: If you're looking for a cheap card that packs a punch, get this. I am going to go back to nvidia for my next build but I think I'm gonna get another one of these when I have the money and crossfire it.
Pros: So far this is a great sub $200 card. I have only had it for 1 day, but it handles everything beautifully. BF3 maxed out runs at 60-70+FPS. If your mining this thing mines at about 362Mhash/s. I can't say much about long term use, but so far this card is amazing for the price.
Cons: It wasn't free and doesn't make me pizza.
Overall Review: FX-8150
8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport (2x4GB)
500GB Western Digital Blue hard drive
Biostar TA970 motherboard
Gigabyte Radeon R9 270 2GB
Rosewill 630 watt Green Series PSU
Pros: Usually you getting what you paid for.. but not in this case:
256bit 2GB DDR5, 3YR warranty + Made by GIGABYTE!
This card will outperform any other in price range under $200
Cons: none.
Overall Review: I'm running it on GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3P + FX-8350
N82E16813128627
N82E16819113284
Everything runs smooth and fast.
BF4 1080p maxed out - no problem
Futuremark 3DMark (2013) - didn't see less than 25FPS
Pros: Runs silent, Really low temperature reading, Overclocks easily, Low Price, Plays all my games, It's an up to date GPU, Fits in Mid Tower to Full Tower cases - No problem, PCI-Express 2.0 backwards compatible. Overall an all around great card.
Cons: None
Overall Review: This card is excellent, it just does everything right and then some, I highly recommend this card to new purchasers.
Cons: I have 3 of these cards. 2 of them are just fine, but this 3rd one, gets way hotter than the rest, seems like something is wrong with the heatsink not transferring heat correctly

Good card for a fluctuating price1/10/2014 5:03:48 PM
Pros: Previously an excellent value
Runs relatively cool for the noise level
Not as long as most other good cards
Solid overclock even in crossfire (1020/1500, haven't pushed higher)
Cons: Price seems to be changing periodically
Due to exhaust system can get a bit toasty in crossfire, still well within the limits though

Pros: cool
quiet
cheap
stays under 63c when gaming and using cinebench(76 fps with AMD 7850k@4.22 + this card)
Cons: loud when over 70% fan speed but it never goes that high
no backplate(heavy so it sags badly)
gets 30-40fps in gtav on normal 1080p, but that's not a con as my CPU is bottlenecking this card
Pros: Powerful for the price, Overclocks easily to 1050 Mhz Processor/1500Mhz Memory. Basically same if not better the the 270X
