Does this motherboard support the Ryzen 5000 processor without a bios update? if so can the bios update be done with a flash drive and no processor in the motherboard?

Ryzen 5000 support depends on the bios version, so if your board was on the shelf for a while it may not support it out of the box. ComboV2 1.0.8.1 will give you minimal support, and ComboV2 1.1.0.0 provides optimized performance for Ryzen 5000. If the motherboard does not boot with the Ryzen 5000 processor, download the required bios from Gigabyte support and extract the bios file to the root directory of a usb flash drive (formatted to fat32). Rename the file on the flash to GIGABYTE.bin. Insure the X570 Aorus Pro motherboard is connected to power, and insert the usb into the Q flash port in the rear I/O panel. Power on the motherboard and wait for approximately 20 seconds. There is a Q flash button and led light in the upper right corner of the motherboard near the ram slots, and the motherboard should start flashing the bios automatically. When it does, the led will start to flash. When the led stops flashing, the bios flash is complete and the board should be able to boot with the Ryzen 5000 processor.
