Can someone tell me what the difference between this and the Gigabyte X570S Aorus Elite (rev. 1.1.)? Not sure what the .1 in the revision difference is?

I believe the difference is that the rev 1.1 is the wireless version of the same board.

Can I just put a Ryzen 7 5800X3D in this board out of the box or do I need to update the BIOS first?

Bios it comes with does not support 5800X3D out the box.
