Designed to fit most 5.25" ODD bays, the CRU-DataPort DP10 removable hard drive enclosure offers a quick and easy way to access your bare 3.5" HDDs. This enclosure is ruggedly crafted with aluminum for drive protection and enhanced heat dissipation. It consists of a receiving frame that’s mounted to the ODD bay of your chassis, and a removable drive carrier to which you secure the HDD. The support for up to SAS/SATA 6G standard allows you to get the best performance from your new drives.
The DataPort DP10 provides you with reliable performance while protecting your data, making it a great choice for government agencies, digital cinemas, and SMB organizations that need robust, high-quality removable drive enclosures to store, transport, and protect their sensitive data. A quiet fan dispels heat effectively, and an exclusive Temperature Controlled Cooling System (TCCS) audibly warns you when the drive overheats. The lock prevents theft and doubles as a power switch. Power and drive activity LEDs let you know the drive status at a glance.

SAS/SATA IIIThe DataPort DP10 connects with SAS/SATA ports on your motherboard and accommodates SAS/SATA HDDs. It offers 6 Gbps performance when used with a 6 Gbps drive and host configuration, and it is backward compatible with 3 Gbps drives and hosts.
Cable-less Drive ConnectionThe cable-less drive connector allows quick and easy drive connection. The cable-less mechanism also provides enhanced signal quality.
Security LockA lock is built in to prevent theft and accidental removal of the drive during operation. The lock also serves as a power switch. It must be engaged for the enclosure to power up and function properly.
Cooling FanAn ultra-quiet Vapo Bearing MagLev (Magnetic Levitation System) cooling fan effectively and quietly dispels the heat. If the cooling fan should fail, an alarm will beep and the green LED on the upper left corner will flash.
Temperature Controlled Cooling System (TCCS)This enclosure is equipped with the exclusive Temperature Controlled Cooling System (TCCS). An audible alarm will notify you if the drives begin to overheat, so that you can prevent data loss or drive malfunction/damage.
Enhanced DurabilityThe drive connectors are tested and verified for over 30,000 insertions for hassle-free long-term use.
