Full Disclosure. I >used< to be a software developer, but that was a long time ago. Now my needs are pretty minimal. I browse, watch movies/youtube, play a few chill games. That kinda thing. I recently brought my 26" monitor into work and was using a 24" at home and was hugely surprised and dissatisfied with downsizing to 24" on my desktop. I poked around and decided to add this sweet thing to my setup. (FYI: using a ASUS GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB PHOENIX behind the scenes.) So pros: 1. HUGE and beautiful. Great display. Looks awesome. 2. Several different options for connection - like 4 HDMI + USB + DisplayPort 3. Internal Speakers are nice. At first I was like - why do I need multiple HDMI connectors? The next day it occurred to me (I'm so smart!) I plug in my PC, my Switch, and leave a cable ready to plug in my work laptop - super smooth. Totally digging the setup. The internal speakers are nice as they route the Switch's audio through the monitor rather than having to fuss with some other connection. 100% no regrets
