If you have a power supply sitting around it's a no-brainer. Pop it in, put in your GPU and you are up and running. It has several external input/outputs, whereas the Razer eGPU enclosure has none. The Sonnet 850 has plenty of external inputs/outputs at a higher price point.

I haven't built a PC since 2017 so this one is a huge upgrade from that era. It's also my first Gigabyte/Aorus product and have had no issues getting it up and running with a 9800x3d and 64gb Corsair RAM with expo enabled. I haven't really tinkered with it nor needed to. Stable, cool, and quiet in all stress-testing and gaming. -Tons of connectivity -Fan headers all over -Solid, well-built, and has massive heatsinks -Classy and subtle RGB -Great looking board for a white/cold looking build, though my air cooler blocks half the view

Looks good. It's a well-built case too. It doesn't feel like the chassis is going to warp when I move it or pick it up. I like that it came with two big rgb fans in the front. As you can see from the pictures, I've since switched them to the top and put a 360mm AiO in the front. The case is small enough that the 360 could mount in the front and the coolant hoses reach just fine (its a razer Hanbo on super deep discount: iykyk). But it's big enough that nothing feels cramped. My system (5600x3d and 6700xt) stays nice and cool

I picked this up on sale in 2026. I'm still running am4 (5600x3d and a 6700xt) so I didn't run into some of the reports I've seen about having to chat with Razer about a proper bracket for am5. Running the pump and fans on 'normal' speed, it keeps the CPU under 60C degrees. At least on Halo @240 fps. I haven't tested it on any other games yet. It spikes up to mid 70s when loading. I'm really happy with it. As for the RGB, I have a bunch of Razer stuff that I bought on sale. I have the Halo Inifite mouse, keyboard, and mouse pad. I have Govee lights behind my monitors. When I die or run of ammo, everything flashes red. I LOVE IT.
