Lightning in a DIMM module

CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000 (PC5 48000) Desktop Memory Model CMH32GX5M2D6000C36
CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000 (PC5 48000) Desktop Memory Model CMH32GX5M2D6000C36

Pros: . With the new AMD Expo it was a plug and play event. Popping off with cool 6k speeds . Diffusers work well in a softer lighting environment . There is NO need to overclock these; I mean it's already been done for you!

Cons: IF you call it a con, which you cannot, because of the RGB lighting, these are NOT low-profile but should work with 90% of the enthusiast cases and coolers out there in my opinion. . I don't care for the price point of these modules considering Corsair can do MUCH better on the price. RGB has made the enthusiast market bonkers in my opinion and therefore price point get lost on the swirling haze of colorful lights. BUT the 6k speeds help to redeem the price of these modules weighing in at a quarter of a grand.

Overall Review: My test board was a ASRock X670E PG Lightning AM5 with a Ryzen 7 7700X. I tested on AMD for folks looking for a quality RGB kit. The kit runs at a default 4800Mhz. With the new AMD Expo it was a plug and play event. Popping off with cool 6k speeds - you may need to enable it in your BIOS. With AMD systems you should find it listed as DOCP/EOCP, and from Ryzen 7000 series onwards, it should be listed in the BIOS as EXPO. . At these speeds games look like a live video recording versus a 25FPS video. There is PLENTY of room to swim with these super fast modules. . The iCue software for the RGB lighting was standard stuff and easy to install as well as use. It also supports temp readings as well as voltage readings. Cool feature! . AMD folks if you have the latest equipment, don't hesitate to use XMP stuff. it will change your day!! . At this price point I would probably wait till they went on sale if I were to buy them and be stoked happy, but for the beauty of the RGB 'softness' and illumination and lightning fast speeds, I would say don't wait too long, you COULD miss out and on that note I would highly recommend these Modules all day long. I mean at the guts core they ARE Corsair afterall. SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? GET 'EM! . . OTHER THOUGHTS: . i didn't upload any pics because the couple of reviews WITH pics do an EXCELLENT job of displaying the brightness and dimness. Great job guys! Since i ALWAYS run my RGB as a white scheme it really did a lot for lighting up the case just a lil more even tho i like my lighting subtle and not like an electric daisy carnival; the diffusers look and work well for my needs and expectations. . ALSO I would LOVE to thank Newegg for ALL the trouble we had getting these modules to me. It was quite an adventure!!! THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH for sticking with it AND me. CHEERS!

Just Okay...

NETGEAR A6200-100NAS AC1200 WiFi USB Adapter IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n USB 2.0 Up to 300 Mbps / 867 Mbps Wireless Data Rates
NETGEAR A6200-100NAS AC1200 WiFi USB Adapter IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n USB 2.0 Up to 300 Mbps / 867 Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: .Worked straight away out of the box with basic stand-alone drivers. . .Kind of futuristic/techie looking. . .In a USB 3.0 port it downloads at 3 Mega Bytes per second all day long (30Mb/s). . .No packet loss or disconnecting or restarting/unplugging EVER. Nice. . .

Cons: .Needs a hard adapter to space away from motherboard when plugged into the back of computer because the shape is impossible to use when many things are plugged into the computer like mine is (INWIN Dragon Rider full tower). And when plugging into the front of the computer my plugs are on top in the front and eats up the space of 2 USB ports, both of which are my 3.0 USB ports. It works well on my Cooler Master N400 series when plugged into the front however. . The included software is nothing more than a waste of time (installation) and hard drive space. It's useless. Just install the stand-alone driver and use windows wireless manager and you'll be fine. . . .

Overall Review: .Works better than my TP-LINK TL-WDN3800 Dual Band Wireless N600 PCI-e card within 20 feet of the router. However after 25 feet wireless bars drop off quickly. But never had any packet loss whatsoever. . .I think it would be cool (but useless) if the black part slid out from the grey part. . .Would be great if it had the current 90 degree bed PLUS a swivel to make it easier to use on the back of computers. . .Tried and tested true for nearly 2 months and I can honestly say this is well made and very reliable. I waited so long to review because I REALLY like to hammer on my review products before I just throw up some half baked review that isn't quite true later on if it fails or whatever. But this adapter really holds up well. I noticed there is a newer version out now, and has probably outdone this version. . .I noticed there is new software drivers out for it. "Improved wireless coverage and throughput in XP/Vista/Win7/Win8. (Add Beamforming)" which I just found because I a putting the adapter into another machine. So I will probably really kick it up now. Cool. the original price-point is WAY too much. However the new $25 price is about what it should be.

SUPERB Quality at BUDGET Prices

Montech Air 900 Mesh ATX Mid-Tower PC Gaming Case, High & Max Airflow, Full-Metal Mesh Front Panel, Tempered Glass, Dust- Proof, Unique Mesh Side Panel - EATX, ATX, Micro ATX, Mini ITX - Black
Montech Air 900 Mesh ATX Mid-Tower PC Gaming Case, High & Max Airflow, Full-Metal Mesh Front Panel, Tempered Glass, Dust- Proof, Unique Mesh Side Panel - EATX, ATX, Micro ATX, Mini ITX - Black

Pros: There are SO many PRO's to this case it is unbelieveable!!! Before I get into this case review I would like to say that MUCH MUCH thought went into this case as if an end user designed this case themselves. This quality level and thought input ONLY comes from companies that are driven by 100% success by making products that people actually WANT. Montech [like Rosewill did] are an up and coming company that will be setting the bar HIGH for other companies; or they will be making boat loads of cash from ACTUAL FANS of this new company [I never heard of them till now]. No expense was spared in the creation of this case in my opinion. . Ok, let's get to it shall we?!!! . PROS: . + First thing I noticed was the case is about 1.5" wider than the usual case size thus allowing a HUGE air cooler of an EASY 6" to be installed. You can actually mount the top fans/radiator and STILL have enough room to install the motherboard with ZERO clearance issues. . + you can fit 10 feet of GPU's in this baby also. . + Yes it has REAL tempered smokey GLASS with a fantastic mounting system. . + The I/O ports in the rear come with a thumbscrew locking plate as WELL as quality phillips screws pre installed. . + DEFINITELY worth mentioning is the cable management slots to the right of the motherboard mount actually have rubber grommets with an x/+ slots in them. One of the internal pictures of the case does NOT reflect this. Don't know why! But when you look at the backside of the case in the pics it does in fact show the x/+ grommets. . + I have to say this case REALLY sucks... AIR that IS!!! It has 3 magneticly removable screens for VERY quick and efficient cleanning! The ONLY case I ever had that had this good of airflow was my INWIN Dragonrider; and I would say this case is even better!!! Just a note, remove magnetic filters while transporting the case. Depending on how you hold it the screens might slide off on you and you dont wanna drop this baby, even tho tempered glass needs a 44 slug to damage it! . + 8 [count 'em EIGHT) I/O slots versus 7 on standard cases (there are10 on full towers usually) . + 2 pre-installed Montech white fans and ALL mounting hardware enclosed. SUCH a treat regarding the added hardware! Once again proves quality in thoughmanship (is that even a word?) . + Nice FAT feet with rubber insers to set on versus some small pegs made of hard slipery plastic. . + The front panel is simple, clean and ballanced. . + Quick release slots for HDD's in rear (TOTALLY unexpected on my part) What a delight. . + Coming in at over 12.5 lbs should inform you of the quality this case totes. Couldn't find exact specs, but I would say this is 2mm steel for the chassis. The glass may weigh 3.5 lbs or so. It is NOT off ballance by any means thanks also to the wider chassis keepin this case firmly planted on the ground. . + The front panel pops off with ease allowing the filter behind to be removed effortlessly. VERY clean build design with this case both internally and externally! . .

Cons: CONS: . + Unless you're putting in a 3 foot long 1200W power supply into this case there is plenty enough room to cram even the messiest of PSU's into this case. Airflow on HDD's may be hindered, but I would reccommend trying to get at least an entry level enthusiast PSU to control the ammount of PSU cableing you need to install to keep airflow good over your HDD's. . .

Overall Review: OTHER THOUGHTS: . Black is back. And this is one sleek, cool B.A. case! This IS the case your mother warned you about!!! . THIS is the case ALL budget builders WISH they could get in features when shopping for a USEFUL case but couldn't afford them in the top tier brands offering the features this case seemlessly has applied with zero efforts. . Upon doing my review today, I see these cases are ALREADY sold out!!! Ye, i KNOW why also!!! . This case even though is a review item and I usually give away my review items to folks, THIS oine I WILL be keeping for my personal gaming rig. I am an AIR fan (vs water cooled), so this case fits right down my alley. . Thank you Montech and Newegg for allowing me to do this review. I haven't been so excited for a company like Montech in a LOOONG time. It has been an honor and pleasure reviewing this case. Thank you!

WD 4TB Silver My Passport Ultra Portable Storage External Hard Drive USB-C for Mac (WDBPMV0040BSL-WESN)

Pros: Did EVERYTHING it was supposed to do (...until... see other thoughts) . fast as ALL lightning and stayed cool as a cucumber. . cool silver metal casing . USB 3.0 .

Cons: Not bullet proof XD

Overall Review: It took a dive out of my backpack (fell 1 story when i leaned up against the concrete stairs & bounced down stairs 'n stuff for another 1 story). THAT didn't kill it believe it or not, it was my cat swiping it off the counter into the kitchen sink and set over night. I guess water seeped in the banged up case, WHO KNOWS why it died.

Slop Garbage @ Best

Cooler Master MasterAir MA621P RGB ThreadRipper TR4 Twin Tower CPU Air Cooler 6 CDC 2.0 Heatpipes, Aluminum Fins, Push-Pull, Dual MF120R RGB Fans RGB Lighting
Cooler Master MasterAir MA621P RGB ThreadRipper TR4 Twin Tower CPU Air Cooler 6 CDC 2.0 Heatpipes, Aluminum Fins, Push-Pull, Dual MF120R RGB Fans RGB Lighting

Pros: Not a single "pro" thing about it; well maybe the fans. This is amateur hour at it's worst. .

Cons:  What to say about The Cooler Master cooler. Well actually a whole lot a whole lot of bad. . . Straight out of the box, the surface that touches the CPU was visualy noticeably uneven and not level or smooth by any means of the words. The heat pipes where it touches the CPU were not only bulged, but actually had different heights and several spaces and separations between them enough to the point where not only where the CPU block meets the heat pipes heat pipes were not soldered or finished in any way shape or form, but when I started twisting the base and spreading the towers, (after I had decided I would not install this on my worst enemies computer) the heat pipes all just kind of buckled and started popping out of the aluminum base block itself. The aluminum base is not soldered or bonded to any heat pipes at all. The block is just machined with several figure 3 loops and then the heat pipes are just pressed into the block. Very very cheap and completely impossible to have a smooth finished surface touching the CPU with this model design. . I decided to tear this one apart instead of using and testing it, and man am I glad that I did. . At this point after removing the aluminum heat block from the bottom after spreading The Two Towers with a couple of folding movements the heat pipes cracked and I could see what was inside. Of course I did this outside because I expected gas to be released. No gas just some chalky something-er-a-ruther in the heat pipe itself. I used a cigarette lighter to get it hot which is about what, 600 degrees?? The material in the heat pipe didn't budge it didn't start to melt it didn't Sizzle it didn't smoke it didn't melt I don't know what it was inside those pipes, but I would never put that on my rig or any rig for that matter. . The aluminum fins attached to the heat pipes that stick up which make the towers are nothing more than just pressed on they're not even soldered either. It's probably enough contact with the plates and the heat pipes to be efficient enough but I would expect at this price point and from a company such as Cooler Master to really up their game especially with an RGB setup. Seems like they're just playing on the RGB kick people will buy them because they're colorful and it's true. But in this case I'm going to say true enthusiast customers are going to be a lot more technical than that these are not just average users that don't know much about computers. This being a TR4 socket, means mostly enthusiast customers to begin with. .

Overall Review: If I could give a -5 egg, I would. . This is embarrassing Cooler Master I expect much better and I would imagine many of your customers would also.

Good and Durable

Toshiba Canvio Advance 3TB Portable External Hard Drive USB 3.0 White - HDTC930XW3CA
Toshiba Canvio Advance 3TB Portable External Hard Drive USB 3.0 White - HDTC930XW3CA

Pros: The color is nice. It is easy to find at a glance. (white) . Performs as expected for a USB 3.0 external drive . Used it hardcore for a month and it's still working... but no promises (see other thoughts)

Cons: - 5Mb/s is a misrepresentation of this drives speeds. USB 3.9 is in fact capable of 5 Mb/s but since this is a Mechanical hard drive, it's physical limitations are limited to around 120Mb/s in reality. Sure you get "burst" speeds of 240 and such, but linger around the 40-90 Mb/s realm. Deception in my opinion, especially to those whom are new to the computer world or those whom simply just never bothered to investigate details of drive speeds in general. 3 eggs off for this. . 2 year warranty is absolutely absurd. It wouldn't suprise me if this is like Seagate getting caught putting "flawed" laptop drives (drives that can't withstand higher speeds) and putting them into a slow USB 3.0 case and selling them as external portable drives (which are much slower than if you put them in a direct connection to a computer). Standard Operating Procedure for any business in this field of technology.

Overall Review: Got a little hot a couple of times transferring large files. . Even dropped it twice from over 4 feet. Still ticking. . I wouldn't really put anything i wanted to keep on this drive unless it was a one time copy to the drive and then parked it on a shelf. Because that's all this drive is really worth with a blantent in your face 2 year warranty... sad.

Sent from Hoover Directly (refurbished)

had a nice size gouge scratch (i don't care), was cleaned to original factory ship specs with all fresh filters and gaskets, motor has an out of balance noise, very subtle to the uninitiated, but dead obvious to me; assumably the reason this one was refurb'ed. guess for my $44 (and free $10 newegg giftcard) my $34 will have to sit and spin till it dies. But i suspect this one is a beater, it'll prolly outlive me... XD

Garbage in a trash bag (literally)

Stuck w/ another piece o' garbage keyboard. you have to press keys WAY down to make contact, and the resistance is quite strong on the keyboard. the goofy spacebar slot causes me to constantly miss spaces when typing.you almost have to look directly down to see the key illumination. itmay "look cool" but for a couch patato it is a hard keyboard to fumble with when trying to grab it when leaning up against the couch without hitting SOME kind of key. i did NOT realize this was a vendor till it was too late. i don't shop newegg vendors for a GOOD reason. the package took over 10 days to recieve (i am used to newegg shipping 1-3 days). when the package arrived it looked like Ace Ventura got a hold of it (the begining of pet detective when he was posing as a UPS delivery guy) Packaging was a white generic box inside of two cut boxes slid together and tapped (box was crushed and riped where the two met. short thin usb cable. overall it is just a cheap flimsy keyboard with no thought in it
