Fast and Quiet!
Western Digital Scorpio Black WD2500BEKT 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 2.5" Internal Notebook Hard Drive Bare Drive
Pros: Definitely the quietest laptop drive I've ever owned. A vast improvement in performance over the Hitachi drive that came with my Dell E1505, which was also a 7200rpm SATA.
Cons: None so far.

Pros: created the partition, formatted, and started copying files to it within 10 minutes of it showing up! Ordered the drive on Monday morning, had a tracking number later that day, AND got free shipping! Gotta love Newegg!
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: purchased this drive to replace a 250Gb Samsung SpinPoint that had reached capacity.
