Excellent gaming monitor

MSI Optix MAG27CQ 27" 2560 x 1440 WQHD 2K Resolution 144Hz DisplayPort HDMI DVI AMD FreeSync Adaptive Sync Anti-Flicker Low Blue Light WideScreen LED Backlit Curved Gaming Monitor

Pros: -Excellent value, bought on sale and couldn't have gotten better deal. -27" screen size and 1440p resolution go great together. -Perfect size for gaming and desktop use. -Crisp picture and vibrant colors. -Freesync- no more tearing! -Sturdy and adjustable stand. -Came with DP and HDMI cables.

Cons: -Don't really like the red led strips because they don't go with my pc theme. This is only a cosmetic issue and they can be turned off so not a big deal. EDIT: I noticed a dead pixel about three months after using monitor. It appears to be only one (so far). This was definitely a concern I had because of other people with the same issue. Fortunately, I don't even notice it unless I'm on a completely white screen so I decided to just live with it instead of going through a tedious RMA process. Hopefully, no more pixels die but if they do I will update my review.

Overall Review: -Very happy with purchase just could do without the red led strips... or at least wish they were adjustable to other colors. -The dead pixel is of concern but don't even notice while gaming so it's okay for now.

Most Critical Review

Good at first but after only 5 months having issues.

DIYPC IDX7-BK-ARGB Black Steel / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with 4 x 120mm Halo ARGB LED Fans Pre-Installed

Pros: -Case is sleek and the glass panel is cool. -RGB fans look cool. -Good value, especially when on sale.

Cons: - Some parts seem cheap.. fans, switches, screws.. - Power switch sticks and causes problems.

Overall Review: I ended up deciding to write this review because of issues I've been having with the power switch. After about 5 months it started sticking which will cause issues with turning on your PC or it randomly turning on and off. I managed to unscrew the switch and move it around a bit and then it worked for another two months but then started having same issues with it sticking. This is one of the most important parts of your case... if your power switch doesn't work then nothing works. Just a very cheap switch. If your tech savvy you might be able to remove the part that's sticking but no guarantees and time spent fiddling with it when you should be gaming or computing. Very frustrating because I expected to use this case for a few years but now with the power switch issue I'll have to spend time trying to fix it or just purchase another case and this one will end up in a recycling bin. UPDATE: I discovered that it's not the power switch itself that is causing my issues but rather the hole where the switch support screw goes is cracked. Therefore, the can come loose causing the switch itself to slide down making it unclickable. I remedied this with some super glue which seems to work for now. In conclusion, I could've just received a defective part or the parts really are just cheap like I suspected. I guess you just get what you pay for.

As advertised

Rosewill ROCF-13002 - 120mm Computer Case Cooling Fan with LP4 Adapter - Transparent Frame & 4 Blue LED Lights, Sleeve Bearing, Silent (Pack of 2)
Rosewill ROCF-13002 - 120mm Computer Case Cooling Fan with LP4 Adapter - Transparent Frame & 4 Blue LED Lights, Sleeve Bearing, Silent (Pack of 2)

Pros: All of the specs are pretty accurate... they're quiet, seem to move air at the rated level, and the blue LEDs look cool.

Cons: I gave a four star rating simply because on one of my fans, one of the LEDs has already gone out. For a few days it was blinking on and off randomly, now it just doesn't come on any more. And they're only about a month old. I could've just gotten the dud of the bunch but nevertheless it's kinda lame. Sure I could exchange for another set but not worth the hassle.

Overall Review: Do what they're meant to but with all products made in China, sometimes if you buy lower quality (usually goes hand in hand with price) then you may experience issues or flaws as I did.
