Installation Guide Precautions (Incorrect connection may cause faults):
Each computer must be connected with 2 HDMI cables and 1 USB A/A cable to keep the keyboard, mouse, and monitor working properly.
Connection steps:
Step 1. Connect 2 x HD MI cable +1 x USB-A cable to PC 1 and KVM (USB 3.0, INPUT A1, INPUT B1).
Step 2. Connect 2 x HD MI cable +1 x USB-B cable to PC 2 and KVM (USB 3.0, INPUT A2, INPUT B2).
Step 3. Connect A 2 x HD MI cable between the KVM (OUT A, OUT B) and the monitor.
Step 4. Connect the keyboard and mouse to the K/M USB port on the KVM.
Step 5. Insert the USB3.0 device into the USB port on the KVM.
Step 6. Plug the desktop controller into the SELECT port and remotely switch between PC1 and PC2.
***Notice***
- The premise for this KVM to achieve dual-screen display is that each PC connected must support dual or multi-screen display.
- Detection method: Can connect the computer to 2 monitors directly (not via KVM). If both monitors have an on-screen display, the computer supports multi-monitor display.
- Adapters Might Be Needed: This Dual Monitor KVM Switch requires 2* HDMI input for each computer and 2* HDMI output for monitors. However, most computers especially laptops do not have 2 HDMI output, thus reliable adapters will be needed for non-2 HDMI outputs like VGA, DVI, USB C. Please be aware of this before order!
- The two monitors can only output the video source from 1 computer (mirror mode or expansion mode), and cannot output the signal source of PC1 and PC2 at the same time.
