Can you raise the Fans if you have high heat spreaders on your RAM?

Not really. Fans clip to the radiator in such a way that if you try to raise them, you'll lose a bunch of cooling capacity due to not having all of the airflow of the fans not blowing through the radiator. Also, the fans would not be firmly attached to the radiator & would cause vibration & noise.

Does Orientation matter with this cooling system?

Mine is mounted on an asus gaming board with one fan sucking up from the bottom and the top fan exiting into 2 fans pulling air out of my case on top, I have used these where they pull from the front of the case and exit to the back where you would probably have at leaste one fan any way. The only problem i have with it.......it covers the first slot in the ram and hits the cover of my 130.00 cougar case, also my builds are mostly amd , so im not sure about intel,       Mark

there are multiple form factors of msi b350 motherboards. However that is an am-4 socket so it will Mount to it my only recommendation is low profile memory just be safe that you don't have any problems fitting it in.

The only difference is clear fans or Black fans I have the reds because it matched my system but it is just a preference also the fans are replaceable
