Pros: G.Skill really produces great RAM modules. I have used their RAM in 90% of my builds, and cannot think of a single RAM related problem. They work great and last.
Overall Review: buy G.Skill RAM, you won't regret it
Pros: The SSD works perfectly after installation. Tested READ/WRITE speeds, and they are very close to the claimed speeds.
OS: Linux Mint 18.2 64-bit
Overall Review: would buy again
Pros: Good Bang-for-the-Buck. The CPU is plugged into a BIOSTAR mobo, and the OS is Linux Mint 18.2 64-bit. Everything runs great, installation was easy. My build is economy to mid-range. For this application the CPU is great.
Pros: For the past 7 years I have built most of my systems (6 computers) using BIOSTAR motherboards. Normally I buy on the low-cost end. In that time every system has run flawlessly. Not one motherboard related problem. I've become a dedicated BIOSTAR fan. They have held up over time, always work perfectly out of the box (Linux Mint OS), give decent performance for the price.
Overall Review: I'm a BIOSTAR fan and make their motherboards my first choice. Recommend for economy to mid-range builds (I don't build gaming systems, so cannot speak to that).
Pros: It's a nice case for the price. Well thought-out and built. I'm impressed, feels good and solid, plus looks great.
Cons: nothing to complain about
Overall Review: Would buy again when I need a case
Pros: Plugged into my BIOSTAR motherboard and worked immediately on my Linux Mint 18.2 64-bit system. Great product at a nice price.
Cons: no cons
Overall Review: Would purchase again
Pros: I purchased this drive for $85 in March of 2009, over 7 years ago, and it has seen heavy use. I keep my PC up and running almost 24/7.
I run Linux Mint OS with 2 hard drives in use. This SuperTalent 32GB SSD where the OS and programs live, and a mechanical drive for the Linux "Home" folder with all my files. My normal use is office type work, ripping and trans-coding videos, and a little bit of Minecraft.
I had low expectations for this drive, but can say I'm more than satisfied. The drive's SMART data does not report a lot of info, other than it is reporting to be healthy.
My Disk utility benchmark test (read only) reports the following:
sample Size: 10.0MiB
avg. read: 134.9 MB/s
avg. access time: 0.25msec (1000 samples)
Not setting the world on fire, but hey, it's a 7 year old SSD still going strong.
Cons: No cons
Overall Review: I guess I would consider another SuperTalent drive. Hope their current models are as reliable as this early unit.
Pros: Have had this memory running flawlessly in my wife's system since August 2010 (running almost 24/7 !!!). With over 6 years and no issues whatsoever, all I can say is I'm sold on G.Skill and I make their RAM my first choice.
Cons: there are no cons, the memory from G.Skill is simply top-notch
Overall Review: I highly recommend this and any other G.Skill RAM. Have been a satisfied customer for years, and with many builds. Was going through my NewEgg history to determine when I built my wife's system. Some items like this RAM are still being sold, so I thought I would comment. 6 years of use, running Linux Mint, and plugged into a BIOSTAR mobo with AMD CPU.
Pros: I have two of these Acer monitors. Both are great. No dead pixels. Excellent picture.
Pros: So far, so good. No issues. I have found using a card reader to be a performance sacrifice compared to a normal USB drive. However, this product is working well. The design is great, with the SD card dissapearing unside the reader. The tail cap covers the card. The plastic feels like decent quality for the price. I have to say I have been impressed with products with the Rosewill name. I have several devices with that brand and have had good luck with them.
Cons: Maybe a bit slow in data transfer.
Pros: Works well with my Canon A540.
Pros: Another great Samsung drive. No problems.
Pros: Works great. No Issues. I have had nothing but good luck with Samsung hard drives. I have used Samsung drives for years and to date, none have failed.
