BIOSTAR is underrated

Pros: For the past 7 years I have built most of my systems (6 computers) using BIOSTAR motherboards. Normally I buy on the low-cost end. In that time every system has run flawlessly. Not one motherboard related problem. I've become a dedicated BIOSTAR fan. They have held up over time, always work perfectly out of the box (Linux Mint OS), give decent performance for the price.
Cons: none
Overall Review: I'm a BIOSTAR fan and make their motherboards my first choice. Recommend for economy to mid-range builds (I don't build gaming systems, so cannot speak to that).
G.Skill is still the best

Pros: G.Skill really produces great RAM modules. I have used their RAM in 90% of my builds, and cannot think of a single RAM related problem. They work great and last.
Cons: none
Overall Review: buy G.Skill RAM, you won't regret it
Fast SSD at a good price

Pros: The SSD works perfectly after installation. Tested READ/WRITE speeds, and they are very close to the claimed speeds. OS: Linux Mint 18.2 64-bit
Cons: none
Overall Review: would buy again
Nice CPU for the money

Pros: Good Bang-for-the-Buck. The CPU is plugged into a BIOSTAR mobo, and the OS is Linux Mint 18.2 64-bit. Everything runs great, installation was easy. My build is economy to mid-range. For this application the CPU is great.
Cons: none
Overall Review: would buy again
Very Happy with the case

Pros: It's a nice case for the price. Well thought-out and built. I'm impressed, feels good and solid, plus looks great.
Cons: nothing to complain about
Overall Review: Would buy again when I need a case
Works great on Linux Mint

Pros: Plugged into my BIOSTAR motherboard and worked immediately on my Linux Mint 18.2 64-bit system. Great product at a nice price.
Cons: no cons
Overall Review: Would purchase again
