Best Small Case for HTPC
Pros: - Cube Design (Perfect for HTPC, LAN Rigs) - Dual Chamber (Left and Right) - Room/Space (Lots of build volume on left chamber) - Cooling Support (Air and Water) - Large PSU support (Lots of room on right chamber for Power Supply)
Cons: The hard drive rack that sits over top of the power supply on in the right chamber is a bit hard to fit hard drives in while using a bigger sized power supply.
Overall Review: I would have to say of all the MicroATX cases that I've used over the years, this one takes the prize. This was an extremely hassle free case to use for my HTPC build. I really enjoyed the dual chamber design and the amount of room that this case gave me for the build. Perfect cube case by Fractal Design, I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a smaller HTPC or Lan rig case.
Do you want to keep your temperatures low? One of the best coolers on the market? I think so!
Pros: Sturdy construction, high quality material, included fans are nice and (higher dollar).
Cons: None
Overall Review: Do you want to keep your temperatures low? One of the best coolers on the market? I think so! So for awhile I had been looking for a all-in-one cooler to put on my machine, being a bit skeptical about all- in-one coolers I stumbled across the Enermax Liqtech 240. This looked like a perfect solution to my problem I was having. My older Enermax air cooler was a slight bit too big for my Thermaltake case, so I found this and decided to bite the bullet and order. I ordered the item from Newegg and had it within 2 days using standard shipping, way to go Newegg and UPS for delivering the item so quickly, I was highly impressed with the speed and quickness of the delivery process. First impressions were quite overwhelming, even the packaging was top notch and the weight I felt when I realized this was the only thing in the box, I was just shocked! I opened up the box and started to go through the included items.. and all I have to say is WOW! The quality of everything in the box was far superior to any other AIO coolers I've used in the past, I was highly impressed with the radiator, I know some of the other reviews say it's not as good, but I personally felt it was better than most of the other AIO coolers I had used previously. The sturdy, high quality construction was winning me over and making me want to use AIO coolers in everything again! Everything from the included 120mm fans, radiator and even the block were extremely high quality and I felt that it was something I could TRUST putting on my CPU and in my system (without any fears of issues later on). The installation was a breeze with all of the included parts, took me right at 20 minutes from opening the box to fully installed in my Thermaltake case. I went from a whopping 68c at max load down to a cool 50c, almost a 20 degree difference, I still can not believe how much of a difference this cooler made. If you're in the market for a 240mm AIO that will keep your system extremely cool, and impress you with the build quality, then this is the unit for you!
Wow.. just wow!
Pros: Build quality is great, solid build, easy to put together. Works great, slow when you first install Windows 8.1 but you MUST install all of the drivers from the disc included or the website, the device will not do anything correctly without the drivers installed (as you would with any PC) Have tested Netflix in Windows 8.1 Internet Explorer Metro, runs perfect, no dropped frames, HD quality, and this is over the WiFi connection. Boots in about 35 seconds from power button to desktop. GREAT little machine for anyone, and for those who think that 2GB of ram is not enough, don't be fooled, I am normally a firm believer in at least 4GB but this little machine has proven me wrong, with the way that Windows 8.1 handles low amounts of memory and the power of the Bay Trail processor, this would make a great computer for anyone! I had 15GB free on the 32GB model after installing Windows 8.1 pro and all the drivers.
Cons: Only one con, the power light does not seem to work on my unit.. maybe it's in the bios setting, not sure.
