Great AIO case

LIAN LI PC-O11 Dynamic Black Tempered Glass on the Front and Left Side, Chassis Body SECC ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case - PC-O11DX
LIAN LI PC-O11 Dynamic Black Tempered Glass on the Front and Left Side, Chassis Body SECC ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case - PC-O11DX

Pros: Wanted a new case a could transfer my ASUS ROG MAXIMUS IX APEX motherboard over to and water cool. Researched this case on utube and fell in love with it. Dam, she was smoking hot and I had to have her. Ordered parts over 2 months. EK monoblock, EK Pump Res combo, 2-360 Rads. Alphacool 16 mm hard-tube and fittings. Corsair LED fans for top side and back. Did I mention, this was my 1st custom water-loop. The case is well thought out. Kudos to Lian Li and Bauer

Cons: Just like any relationship at 1st it's great, then after the Honeymoon is over, reality sets in. Little things begin to surface that you weren't aware of. Sometimes you'd like to reset your baby, but with this case you can't. No reset switch, just a power switch. Really !! What's up with that. OH, I know. Some motherboards have reset buttons on them so you could just take off the top panel that keeps the side panel locked into place and then take off the side panel then press the reset button. Yea, I get it now. Then there's the issue of the adhesive strips holding on the tempered glass panels. Woke up this morning and notice the front glass panel had dropped straight down. Didn't fall over and break luckily. Also that panel didn't come with the strip with the 2 feet on it to secure it into to place on the bottom. Wish I would of ordered the Lian-Li PC-O11 WX 2.5-3.5 in. Mid Tower Chassis instead. This case has thumb screw holding the tempered panels on. Is around 70.00 dollars more, but won't lose sleep over panels falling off in the middle of the night.

Overall Review: Also (Don't forget Newegg, you asked me to write a review.) The USB 3 connection to the motherboard needs an adapter. To be specific. USB 3.0 20pin Male to Female Extension Adapter Angled 90 Degree for Motherboard Mainboard (Down angled). A 2.00 dollar item, but almost impossible to get. Have been waiting about 2 months now. Order the (Up angled) 1st. Just the opposite of what i needed. -2.50 + shipping. This would tuck that male plug out of site and give it a cleaner look. Would I suggest this to other's. No, I wouldn't. Pay the extra 70.00 and get a Lian-Li PC-O11 WX. The case has the thumb screws to secure the tempered glass panels and is about 2 inches taller. Dimensions (H x W x D) 19.92" x 10.91" x 17.99" As opposed to the LIAN LI PC-O11 Dynamic Dimensions (H x W x D) 17.70" x 10.80" x 17.70" Trust me. The extra space height wise will come in handy with a thick radiator.

WCUK Spec Alphacool 16mm PETG Hard Tube, Chrome Fittings and Cord Pack - Clear
WCUK Spec Alphacool 16mm PETG Hard Tube, Chrome Fittings and Cord Pack - Clear

Pros: This was my 1st time. A virgin if you will. Had always taken the safe way with Corsair AIO's and never a custom water loop let alone a hard tube loop. This was a OK start. The fittings matched the tubing and the silicon fit inside of the hard tubing. Very basic .

Cons: OK Alpha cool, WAKE-UP AND LISTEN. Seriously, 6 fittings to start out with ? 2-CPU, 2-GPU and 2-Res/Pump. What about the Radiator or Radiators. Minimum of 2 per Rad. That equals a total of 2+2+2+2=8 ? 15.00 Minimum for shipping and handling for 2 more fittings. Also if your having it shipped from Germany (Directly from Alpha cool), the shipping is astronomical. And for the silicon insert, the picture on the advertisement is deceiving. there's no way the 1 foot of silicon could be folded over and have so much over hang. I ended up going into another website and ordered a longer length. If this is considered a starter package, consider the Newbies. Make it easier on the beginner's and they might be returning customers.

Overall Review: This helped me get started... To use a metaphor, it was like learning to ride a bike, with training wheels only on one side of the bike. Obviously, this set up is for beginner's. And in my opinion is it take's advantage of beginner's. Buyer's do your research. Shipping and handling can really hit you hard when you have to keep going back for one more part.

USB 3.0 20pin Male to Female Extension Adapter Angled 90 Degree for Motherboard Mainboard (Down angled)
USB 3.0 20pin Male to Female Extension Adapter Angled 90 Degree for Motherboard Mainboard (Down angled)

Pros: I'm suppose to tell you what i like about this item, well I can't do that just yet.

Cons: Beware, there are 2 different adapters. A down angle and a up angle. I needed an up angle, but ordered a down angle. Waited about a month to finally get it and realized you can't convert them from one to another. Will try again when I find a website with a Up-Angle Adapter.

Overall Review: Just a suggestion, why don't you just charge us a little more and send us both (Up and Down adapter). I need this part to complete a build. Close tolerances on a Lian Li pc-011 case. Waited a month just to find out I waist ed time and money for nothing.

OH YEA !!!

ASUS ROG MAXIMUS IX APEX LGA 1151 Intel Z270 SATA 6Gb/s Extended ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS ROG MAXIMUS IX APEX LGA 1151 Intel Z270 SATA 6Gb/s Extended ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: This thing is _ucking amazing. Bought this for my X-mas, Tax Return, B-Day Gift. I was a very good boy this year. Was looking to upgrade. Had a good setup with the Crosshair Formula V-Z and AMD FX 9550. But had a TDP of 220. Used a lot of power. Wanted to build something with a Intel chip set. Took about a month of reading reviews to figure what I wanted. Ended up getting this Mobo with a Kabylake 7700k as well some G-Skill TridentZ RGB Series Model F4-4266C19D-16GTZR . If you wanted your Memory to run at 4133 and above, pay attention to what's really compatible. (QVC)

Cons: The only thing that would be a con is the BIOS. Alot of options to mess up the BIOS if you don't know what your doing, but there's always somebody that has done that already and put it on a Utube channel. Just have to find it.

Overall Review: Wouldn't change anything about this motherboard. It's not for everybody. There are almost same Mobo's from Asus with more memory slots or different features. This runs an easy 5.0 GHz with a 4133MHz on the DDR. Sweet thing about this setup is you can run it at 5.0 GHz but if setup correctly, it down clocks to 800MHz when just browsing. With Corsair Hydro Series H110i keeps around 35-40 C and around 50-60 C when gaming.

Missing parts

EVGA GeForce GTX 980 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Superclocked ACX 2.0 Video Card 04G-P4-2983-RX
EVGA GeForce GTX 980 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Superclocked ACX 2.0 Video Card 04G-P4-2983-RX

Pros: Had ordered and had been using a GTX 980 for around 2 months. Came up with some more money and was considering setting up a SLI. Started watching for prices to drop before purchasing another card . Saw a refurbished card for about 70.00 less and purchased it. have had it for around 4 months and noticed that it was difficult to get a mild overclock in SLi with that card. Decided to change the thermal compound on both of the cards to try and drop temperatures to the GPU. When I opened the card up, I noticed that 2 of the thermal pads and the heat sinks were missing. Even for 70.00 dollars for a discount I expect somebody would have checked this out. Very disjointed with EVGA and newegg. Will be considering other vendors when purchasing high dollar computer parts.

Cons: Make sure when you ship something, that it has all the parts with it.

Overall Review: Not a refurbished part.

Purchased when 320.00

ASUS Radeon R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card R9280X-DC2T-3GD5
ASUS Radeon R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card R9280X-DC2T-3GD5

Pros: The Pros back in Nov. was that it was 320.00. Fair price for a mid-high end card. Once you figure that only the drivers from the Asus web site are the only way to go, then your OK. Personally looking back, I wish I would of invested my coin into Nvidia. It's the same old story with ATI, there always scrambling to fix there drivers. 1st thing to do is make sure your GPU BIOS is updated. GPU Tweak doesn't work for that. Tried for last 2 months ended up doing manually.

Cons: Back in Nov. the new COD Ghost came out was running 2x5850's with a Asus crossfire formula v Mobo. DDR 3 1866 Memory (8 gigs). I could get the game to run at a very low resolution, but looked terrible. Decided to look around for a new GPU. This is what I bought for 320.00. Same card is now selling for 479.00. I spent the last 3 months trying to get it to run Ghost without artifacting. I'm a pretty persistent person. What I came up with is replacing my monitor with a ASUS VG248QE Black 24" 144Hz 1ms. That helped, but the thing that really did the trick was to go to Asus's web site and flash the GPU BIOS (VBIOS_Update_R9280XDC2T).

Overall Review: I saved 150.00 dollars for buying it back in Nov. ($479.00). Wasted endless weekends trying to make it work correctly. I hope this saves at least 1 person that same aggravation.
