Good upgrade from old fx series processor
Pros: Substantially better than than wife's old fx 6300 processor
Cons: No pcie gen4, only 8mb L3 cache
Overall Review: Wanted to upgrade my wife's computer. She had an old fx 6300. This r5 4500 almost as good as my r5 3600. If your not already on am4 platform it is a great little budget CPU for the price. Went with a build that was less than $500. Storage and graphics card not included. I reused her ssd and hhd. And I had an old gtx 980ti laying around. She only has a 1080p 60hz monitor but she doesn't play games that really benefit from high fps so the 980 ti is still plenty good for 60fps
Great monitor at almost half price
Pros: Ips, 1440p, 144hz,
Cons: Didn't buy it sooner
Overall Review: I had been looking for an actual gaming monitor to replace the old 1080p tv I had been gaming on for years. I wanted gsync not freesync as my graphics card is a 980ti and I wanted to take advantage of vrr. And I won't be upgrading my graphics card for at least another year. Gsync was recognized and activated as soon as I powered everything on. Even though my card is a bit dated now it pushes this monitor really well. I play a mix of different kinds of games. I can max out all of my older games and max out the refresh rate and everything is buttery smooth. On the games I can't max out the fps the gsync really helps keep fps dips smooth and unnoticeable. it is a great monitor. Has very minimal ips glow that is really only noticable when playing in the dark while the screen is displaying a dark image. Even then you have to look for it. The colors and detail are top notch. I was weary buying recertified but am glad I did. No dead pixels all hardware and cables were included.
good case
Pros: Good size, plenty of room for further upgrades, well built good build quality
Cons: None so far
