very good quality power supply
Pros: fully modular with good quality cables. My focus is on reliable power delivery, not bling since I have a closed case. I worked with electronics most of my life so a power supply is no mystery to me.
Cons: There is nothing I disliked about this power supply. My build is all black so it fits right in.
Overall Review: I tend to think of Seasonic as a premium brand. I believe this will las5t a long time.
Great for Video Conference
Pros: This is the second web cam I ever got. The last one I got over ten years ago. I got this one for telehealth meetings with my doctor. As It is, It works very well. Auto focus keeps my image sharp. the focus stays on my face. It works well in normal room light. focus happens fast. When I start my telehealth conference the camera automatically starts up,
Cons: no cons I can think of.
Godd choice
Pros: I got this to mount my Samsung Galaxy S8. It fits well adapter even with my phone case on. Securing my phone is easy. Unmounting and taking my phone is also easy. it seems rugged enough. There is nothing flimsy about it It does as well as or better than what I expected.
Cons: none that I can think of.
great as a boot drive
Pros: seems that all modern boards have e M.2 connectors so getting one at this capacity made a lot of sense to me. The BIOS on my ASUS Z270 board recognized as a boot choice. Having Windows 10 installed on makes for very fast boot and incredibly fast shutdown.
Cons: Don't let Windows 10 see a big hard drive in your system during install. the M.2 drive was hidden in the BIOS until I disconnected the 3TB drive and went back to the bios where it showed up again as a bootable drive. I installed Windows on the M.2 and after Windows was installed I hooked up my storage drive. I used disk management to delete the volume but it was left in two partitions that Windows created on my first install attempt. I opened a power shell prompt and used DISKPART to Clean my 3TB drive that was converted to a simple volume in disk management. I say this so it may save somebody else a headache.
Overall Review: My bios states it can raid multiple M.2 drives.I want to get another one and try that out
Functional and solid.
Pros: Asus is a top tier manufacturer. The only thing that distinguishes one Z270 board from another is features they have.I chose this model because I didn't need flashing lights and bright colors. I have it in a closed case. It booted right up first time for me. I have one 500GB M.2 NVME stick I use for boot. There is another M key M.2 socket on the board and the bios allows setting the M.2 drives in raid. Solid, Functional and booted up right the first time. UEFI bios is functional and nicely laid out. One Lan port is all I need. There are plenty of fan connectord
Cons: no cons. When it works right, out of the box there was nothing I saw that I didn't like
Excellent all in one
Pros: This cooler was easy to install and does what it;s supposed to do. It is quiet and efficient.
Cons: I had some issues with the stiffness of the hoses.I would personally preferred more flexibility
Overall Review: Time will tell.
Bluetooth for my PC
When I thought about adding bluetooth connectivity to my PC I first thought about finding a Pcie card. I found this and plugged it into my usb port. Windows recognized it. My other bluetooth devices saw it and I was able to transfer files between devices. It just worked, no fuss involved. Basic tech like this is what makes things so easy to work with. Even for an old dog like me
Handy to have around
There are a lot of printers out there. I particularly like the versatility of this one. There many sizes and variety of label cartridges this machine can print on I can take it with me or leave hooked up to my computer. Having used this model for years at my workplace its reliability is such that it just keeps on working.
It's aspire brick
It looks just like Apple's brick. It works just as well. It is what I wanted. A spare so I leave one at home and one when I travel.w
