Strong dock with 130W Power delivery (Dell Only)

Dell 9GMPM Thunderbolt Dock WD19TB Docking Station 180W Power Adapter (130W Power Delivery) 210-ARIK
Dell 9GMPM Thunderbolt Dock WD19TB Docking Station 180W Power Adapter (130W Power Delivery) 210-ARIK

Pros: Small, 3 ports for external displays, 3 USB 3 ports, 1 USB C ports and no fan noise.

Cons: None

Overall Review: This dock is great for what I use it for and it keeps power to my XPS 15 9500 at all times. The 130W delivery is specific to Dell as it is proprietary technology that allows the 130W delivery on a 180W dock. Running 3 1080P monitors at all times with no latency or issues.

Works great. No complaints

NEXIN NEX-DS2U3 2.5" & 3.5" Black Dual Bay SATA I/II/III USB 3.0 Docking Station
NEXIN NEX-DS2U3 2.5" & 3.5" Black Dual Bay SATA I/II/III USB 3.0 Docking Station

Pros: Long USB3 cable and power cable. 3.5"drives just fall into place, no reduction in speed when 2 drives are being accessed

Overall Review: This unit is literally just an external dock for 2 drives. No software or special features. Ribs great and quiet and sites not get to warm from the drives running

Nice drive for storage

WD Blue 4TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 5400 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD40EZRZ

Pros: - Storage capacity - Buffer size - Performance

Cons: - First drive was a pretty much a DOA. Newegg took care of the RMA without any problems and replacement was shipped immediately

Overall Review: - The first drive failed within 3 hours with a SMART error. Transfer speeds went from 120-150 MBPS to 2.7-3.1. Filed for an RMA and the replacement was approved the same day. - Overall a great drive for storing files. I keep my music and movies on this drive which is a backup for my primary drive
