is this ram compatible with asus ASUS Z87-A LGA 1150 Intel ?

I have a Z-87k, and this ram has been flawlessly performing for months.

I'd imagine it would also work great in the the Z87-A.  The description for that board says it accepts up to DDR3 3000, so these should work fine.

Just make sure to turn on the XMP option for the RAM in the bios, so that the sticks run at 2400.  (note that since it's DDR ram, the actual reported frequency in windows will be 1200, which is doubled per clock cycle to make 2400.)

Hi! I am building my first pc and was wondering Is this RAM is compatible with an Asus M5a78L motherboard?

It will almost certainly work, but at a lower speed unless you are going to overclock it. It is not listed in the compatibility list which is in the owners manual of your motherboard which you can download and look at on the Asus site. I did and this motherboard will only (possibly) overclock your memory to DDR 3 2000 and not 2400. That being said, I'm 90% sure it will at least work. I have not had any memory just not work in about 40 builds as long as it fits in the slots. Your mileage may vary.

Can I used this memory with G.Skill Trident X F3-2400C10D-8GTX? (2X4GB)

The only difference between them that may possibly be a problem is the timing or latency of the two models. Your motherboard may happily slow down the slightly faster timing of one to make it compatible with the other. Or, your motherboard may choke on it and cause intermittent errors. Best advice when adding extra memory is to use exactly the same model as you already have.

Is this compatible with AMD motherboards?

as long as the motherboard has a 240-pin connector for ram then this will fit. if the motherboard does not have a 240-pin connector then you will have to find ram that has the same connector as the motherboard. i believe that the 240-pin connector is standard for all ram and motherboards

will this set of memory be comp. with ASUS Z97-PRO LGA 1150 Intel Z97? Its says 2400(OC). but i am not to sure.

Looking at the QVL for the motherboard you posted, it doesn't seem like this set of ram is compatible for 2400, it'll probably work still, but you'd have to lower it to 2133 or something before it'll boot.

If you still want 2400, have a look at their QVL for RAM on ASUS' site and choose something there. I'd link to it directly but newegg doesnt allow other sites to be posted here apparently

I have an Asus A88x Pro board with an AMD 7850k apu. Out of the box, it runs fine at 1600. When I turn it 2400 (with its default xmp). I get random blue screens at times... Is there additional timings that need to be tweaked?

I have it running on an asrock extreme 6 and a A10-7850 runs perfect with xmp profile. ( but I did have on memory socket that was iffy and would blue screen at times, switched to the other dim slots and no more problems)

Wow. The clowny tech where I work said he put in 24gb of this stuff. I just got 16gb. (Really, it's good stuff). I ask him what's so good about  24gb and he won't answer anything and mumbles, "Because". Which leads me to ask, what do you use all that ram for? Most game applications max from 8 to 16gb.

24 is mismatched, go with 8, 16, 32.  If you are pairing them you need these two, if you want 4 sticks of ram I would look at the 4 packs.  G.Skill is great ram, I have been buy them for years and there customer service is even better.  This is the only brand of ram I would buy.

Will these memory bars work with my MSI A78M-E35 V2 FM2+ AMD A78 6 x SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard? Also are these memory cards good for gaming? and will they overheat..?

They will most likely work. You're best off looking at a memory compatibility list specific to your motherboard, but most ddr3 ram will work with most boards regardless. Almost any old ddr3 is more than good enough for gaming, though you'll get a few more frames with higher frequency sticks than say 1600. Ram rarely overheats unless it is being overclocked quite a bit, even without fancy heat spreaders like that. These sticks are rated for 2400mhz, your motherboard only supports running them up to 2133mhz, so they'll actually be running cooler than they're meant to on your board (which is not a problem).

Make sure to check what speed these are running at in the bios after installation. MSI's memory profiles are usually quite good, but they may run at 1600mhz until you choose a 2133mhz profile.

I have XPS 8700. i5 with 8 GB RAM. Is thiS G.SKILL RAM compatible with my Desktop computer?

Yes it uses ddr3 ram.  I am not sure if the xps 8700 allows for ram overclocking so you may not be able to utilize the full 2400 mhz speed, but they are compatible. They have been great ram for me, stable at 2133mhz.  I can't over clock to 2400 because I have a Sandy bridge i7.  But they are great ram at a great price.  Hope this helps.

Yes but the most your board will see from it is 1800 and not the 2400 you would like it to. Sorry, I have the same problem but it works fine.
