Echo III Rackmount

Enhance your Thunderbolt 3-compatible desktop computer with the Echo III Thunderbolt 3 to PCIe Card Rackmount Expansion System from Sonnet. This external rackmount enclosure includes one PCIe 3.0 x16 and two x8 slots, supporting full-height and full-length non-GPU expansions such as network adapters, SSD cards, USB port cards, and more. Configurations include either one double width and one single width card or three single width cards, supported by a 400W internal power supply. An internal 6-pin power connector is available, providing up to 75W of supplemental power to compatible expansion cards.

With its dual Thunderbolt 3 ports, you can connect your computer to the Echo III using the included cable and daisy chain multiple devices, transferring data at up to 40 Gb/s with your Windows 10, macOS 10.12. 6 or later, and Linux 5.0 or later system.

Thunderbolt 3

Thunderbolt 3 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB Type-C connector. Doubling the speed of its predecessor, Thunderbolt 3 features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB 3.1 at up to 10 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.2 allows you to connect up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 3 port.
