It reads CAC (Common Access Card), PIV, national ID, and banking chip cards, giving users direct access to platforms such as ActivClient, AKO, OWA, Marinenet, AF Portal, DTS, LPS, Pure Edge Viewer, ApproveIt, and Disa Enterprise Email. The reader features a USB-C interface with a tethered USB-A adapter so it works with both current and legacy computers without requiring a separate cable or hub.
Setup is plug and play on Windows 11, 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP, 2000, and Mac OS X 10.6 and later, with no manual driver installation needed in most cases.
