Accidental purchase off the marketplace
Pros: - great resolution with stable amazing frame rates - Everything you would expect from Nvidia for gamers
Cons: - costly and not as good of a value as the 3080
Overall Review: I thought I was purchasing the 3090 and board combo from newegg direct. After the realization I decided to ride it out and see as worst case scenario I was still able to return it to newegg. It arrived quickly with minimal issues, installed the card and drivers, and I was off to the races. I was running on low resolution settings on 1080p with my AMD 5700 card and ran into a lot of stuttering, lost frames, and so on. Now I'm running 1440, higher resolution and shadows, color filters, streaming, and more while still maintaining high frame rates. I have it paired with an I9 10k and it's a match made in heaven.
Still has compatability issues
Pros: -Beautiful finish - clicked to 3200 for 1440 it smokes the competition - places space for even more RAM on your board :)
Cons: - doesn't work with my ASUS ROG Maximus XII Hero board - expensive
Overall Review: Even after all the articles and advertisements about not having to use specific AMD products to make it work i installed this in my new ASUS ROG Maximus XII Hero only to have it not read any memory. After checking with Asus tech support I came to find out that it is not compatible so before you shell out the money for this Ram check and see if it will work for your board. The fit and finish is great and the review may go up when I find a board in my price range for my other pc that accommodates this RAM. Definitely a shame because it is not only gorgeous, but all independent tests I've seen have it running amazingly well.
