Eh, still not very "heavy"

Rosewill RM-5000L 5000 DPI Laser Gaming Mouse w/ Adjustable Weights
Rosewill RM-5000L 5000 DPI Laser Gaming Mouse w/ Adjustable Weights

Pros: DPI options on the mouse, you can change the sensitivity on the fly, this is really nice. Good, sleek design

Cons: Still not very resistant when I add all the weights. My MX5500 was heavier than this, and it's just a BT mouse, not for gaming. Slightly disappointed in the weight, but I'm still doing well in my game play.

Overall Review: I figured this was so inexpensive because Rosewill is Newegg's "house" brand. I knew I was buying a $29 mouse and that's exactly what I got, so can I really be mad here? Not in my opinion. -1 egg for the hopes that this would be slightly heavier

software prob, but great unit

Tripp Lite INTERNET900U Internet Office 900 VA 480 Watts 12 Outlets Standby UPS for PCs
Tripp Lite INTERNET900U Internet Office 900 VA 480 Watts 12 Outlets Standby UPS for PCs

Pros: Lots of space for big plugs, DSL surge protection noise protection too! Does the job. About the size of a comparable APC

Cons: The software is getting on my nerves. It won't install becuase it says it is missing the Java software....... but the disc comes WITH the Java installer in case you don't have it. So I tried the disc, didn't work. Downloaded the version from CNET/ Downloads.com, still didn't work. So I can't run the power management utility that comes with this unit. I bought Tripp Lite because they have great solutions for my company, which I am responsible for upkeeping. I'm a little disappointed in the software side of this.

Overall Review: If you are looking for a UPS, this will do it hands down. But don't expect the software to run on this. I'm using Win XP Media Center SP3, it's fully updated as well as the Java software...... clueless as to what I need to make it work.

Beware of misleading pics, overall still a decent monitor

DELL SE2717Hx 27" Black IPS LCD/LED Monitor 1920 x 1080 Resolution with Narrow Bezel Edge-to-Edge Viewable Screen, 16:9 Aspect Ratio, 178/178deg. Viewing Angle and VGA/ HDMI (cable included)
DELL SE2717Hx 27" Black IPS LCD/LED Monitor 1920 x 1080 Resolution with Narrow Bezel Edge-to-Edge Viewable Screen, 16:9 Aspect Ratio, 178/178deg. Viewing Angle and VGA/ HDMI (cable included)

Pros: 27" for $140 + $20 rebate, can't beat it at 1920x1080. I'm not gaming any longer, so I can't speak to gaming performance. Great for every day use.

Cons: I'll start off by saying shame on me for not double checking in the description tab... but the pictures of this monitor on Newegg's site 1) show that it's curved when looking top down and bottom up 2) Show 2 HDMI ports... this is the big issue, it DOES NOT come with 2 HDMI ports, just one and then VGA. I bought 2 of these to use between my tower and work laptop (docked). The plan was to go with both HDMIs on these, which is why I pulled the trigger on the purchase.... when I received them, though, just one.... I bought adapters and the world is fine again... but still a little peeved I'm back on VGA. I could buy a KVM but not looking to spend that type of money, plus I already own a USB switch, so I'll just switch monitor inputs if they don't already auto detect which PC I'm powering up.

Overall Review: This is more a problem with Newegg not posting accurate pics of the product itself. I don't care really that these aren't curved, it makes no difference... but the lack of the 2nd HDMI port should have prompted for the right picture. I've made a lot of purchases since 2007 here and this is the first issue of this type, so I won't rage quit on Newegg. At the end of the day, everything works as it should with a little bit of plan B

Not impressed

Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Keyboard - Retail
Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Keyboard - Retail

Pros: Illumination on this thing is even and covers all keys, great when the lights are out. Keys are not loud in the slightest bit. Made it easier to do grad school work late at night.

Cons: Just too "compact".... My fingers are constantly hitting the Caps Lock, causing me to stop what I'm doing to undo it. I've already disconnected this thing and had a buddy give me his old Saitek Eclipse. Which is exactly what I replaced with the Sidewinder. To me, this one was simply a "dud"

Overall Review: I have a standard Dell keyboard at the office, I believe that the Saitek mimics the Dell a lot, so that there is no adjustment from work to home in how I type. With the Sidewinder, there was. I know I'm not the only person who feels this way.

Great case, but one minor issue

Cooler Master Elite 130 - Mini-ITX Computer Case with Mesh Front Panel and Water Cooling Support
Cooler Master Elite 130 - Mini-ITX Computer Case with Mesh Front Panel and Water Cooling Support

Pros: Awesome looking mini ITX case, but compact enough to where it doesn't own all the desktop real estate.

Cons: All HDD and SSD mounts make the SATA connections come very close to the floor, side, or 5.25" tray. This makes it really difficult to find a PSU that has a straight ended (vs 90 degree end) SATA power connector on the end of a SATA power connection string coming from the PSU. What you'll have to do if you're not careful is use the straight connector that is first in line from the PSU and has the four power wires coming out of both sides. I'm not extremely happy with that issue, but buyer beware, you'll need to consider this when you are in the hunt for a matching PSU. All in all, I would definitely buy this case again. This is just a new issue for me since most builds I've done are ATX mid towers or MicroATX. Cooler Master should have considered HDD/SSD mounts that move the drive about another 1/4" - 3/8" away from the case itself.

Nice PSU

CORSAIR CX Series CX430 430W 80 PLUS BRONZE Active PFC ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply

Pros: Solid brand, solid PSU, all black so it matches my CM Elite 130 case.

Cons: None at the moment
