LG USB 2.0 External CD/DVD Rewriter With M-Disc Support (Black)-model GP65NB60
Pros: Installed required software , pluged in the included Usb cord , it worked outta the box , no hickups or problems , used it ti burn my Win 7 ISO image , and a Win XP Pro ISO image , takes about 15 minutes to burn Win 7, and about 6 minutes to burn Win XP Pro . Used also for installing my F1 2010 , F1 2012 , Dirt3 , and many other games , worked great ,I now use it to play these games as its required to have the game disk installed to play them ..
Cons: A bit slow on burning but look at the stated burning speeds ,, it won`t burn at a faster internal Dvd writer speed , but you should know this if you read all the Specifications when researching ..
Overall Review: Overall this is a great Dvd reader , writer for a HTPC build , does as required for a portable drive A +++
DOA
Pros: Non so far , board will not POST .
Cons: The package was delivered on 02/16/2023 at 01:22 PM No Post on screen , new board , new R7- 5700X , new Corsair 750 watt Psu , new Corsair LPX DDR4 3200 memory , new Adata 1TB m,2 . I went through all the steps clearing the cmos , reseating the CPU , reseating ram and using 1 8GB stick , checked all conections . Still no post ??? There was no sticker on the Bios chip stateing which Bios it had installed . Description on box said might need a Bios update --- Also said it was Ryzen 5000 series ready ??? I pulled the Cpu and put in my spare Ryzen 5 2600 as Bios states it will work on all Bios Versions , did not work ! I took the setup into a computer shop this morning to have it diagnosed on my own exspense . If no good gonna send back for a replacement ASAP . I could have bought the more exspencsive version by the time I pay for shipping twice and the 1 Hour Diagnous . This should be shipped with the latest Bios nowadays . This is the board I want though , will do follow up post when all is fixed .
Overall Review: Depends on the Sellers support I get and follow up after I finally can review this Board .
Great Motherboard
Pros: -Works great once setup -Lot of usefull Sata and M.2 connections - Should have stayed with my MSI line of Products to start with ,, bought a Asrock mobo first and it did`t work , sio bought this one - no problems ... :)
Cons: Few things to do when setting up first - Do a bios update first if using with a Ryzen 5000 series processor - If installing Win 10 when setting Boot Usb for booting go into > Win 10 OS settings and turn on CSM , then go back into Boot options and set to Legacy , Uefi mode . Then your usb stick as first boot option , save and reboot , you Must hit F11 while its rebooting to give you the option of picking the USB stick , if you don`t it will continually put you back in Bios setup ,, I hope this helps people . - a side note the 3rd M.2 drive will only give you a 2GBs PCie 4.0 X 1 bandwidth
Overall Review: Yes I`d recomend this motherboard as I`m more than pleased ...
ENERMAX UCTA18A-BL 180mm Blue LED Case Fan
Pros: Moves lotta air as specified , blue light looks great in my homebuilt Gaming HTPC ,, I5-3570K ,Gtx 660 , Samsung 120Gb 840 Evo ssd ,
Cons: For watching movies must be set on low setting , to loud on med and high settings for watching movies ...
Overall Review: Great product for a gaming Pc ,, HTPC somewhat questionable ????
