Fully modular is awesome!!
Pros: This comes with at least two of the 4x4 cables for the 8-pin cpu power on motherboards. With this you can also connect to the 4pin next to 8pin connections. 80 Plus Platinum Fully modular You can't hear it running , there's an Eco mode Eco mode can be turned off If 750w is enough for what you need then get this.
Overall Review: This is perfect for what i needed. 100w over the pc builder recommendations. Platinum efficiency... what's not to like?
WHAT THE @#$%
Pros: It's black!
Cons: I couldn't even get my cusor to move, must not be compatible with an optical mouse. I didn't see that on the specs.
Overall Review: Very disappointed! I havn't used a mouse pad in years, the board I use is basic laminant and it is getting worn. Mouse only works on the corner of the board, wich restrict my movement. Thought I'd get this mouse pad to fix that. I guess you gotta research mouse pads these days to find out what will work for optical mouse!
Best RAM I've ever owned!
Pros: The price ($99.99) at the time of purchase (November 2011) was good then , but now the price is about half of that! Easy to install, runs at advertised speed, love the color scheme, and compatible in both Intel and AMD motherboards.
Cons: NONE!
Overall Review: I bought this kit for Asus P8Z68 Deluxe/i7-2600K build. And they worked as advertised. I also have an Asus m4n98td evo that i couldn't get my Patriot ram to run at 2000 . So I popped this G.skill kit in and it booted at 2133 to my surprise. While I didn't try to stabilize it at that speed, I may try later, but because my AMD is only rated for 2000 ram, i shot for that and was finally able to get a stable 2000 ram speed with 8-10-9-23 command rate 1 timings. While its not operating at 2133, the timings are actually tighter than the Patriot ram timings (9-10-9-27) that I couldn't get to run at 2000. I have just purchased a G.skill 2400 8gb kit to go back in my Intel system, I feel confident that G.skill won't let me down! Thanks G,skill!!!
UPDATE!!!
Pros: This is an update to my earlier "4 egg" review, same Pros apply. Add the fact that they will run on AMD MB @ 2000 mhz. Love the fact that I get 8gb in 2 sticks. edit typo: 2 x 4gb, not 2 x 8gb. read other thoughts...
Cons: lots of trial and error testing and googling to get stable @ 2000....1.9 volts believe it or not and changed TRFC from 160ns to 300ns Wish overclocking was simpler!!!
Overall Review: After reading that the AMD 1090t could reach 2000 mhz I decided to replace my 965, which I assumed was the culprit for not reaching spec speed, but I'm there now, STABLE! My setup=Asus M4N98TD EVO, AMD1090t (swapped out the 965) 1.3875volts @ 4.25ghz, fsb 250, HT & NB= 1.22 volts @ 2750mhz, and this Ram=9-11-9-27-(41)-2T 1.9volts @ 2000mhz
2 sticks, 8 gigs
Pros: 2 x 8 gb, capable of 2000mhz per OC or XMP profile, good price w/rebate
Cons: Couldn't get stable @ 2000, but probably not RAM's fault, JEDEC settings only go up to 1066mhz, would be nice to have stable settings listed for 1600 or even 1333 in case you can't get stable @ 2000. I was able to find 1600 setting with some bios tweaking.
Overall Review: To my surprise my pc runs faster w/9-9-9 settings @ 1600 than my 1600 7-7-6 RAM but those were 4 sticks vs 2... maybe the reason?
Skeptic no more!!!
Pros: Clears case up for better airflow. Easy to install! Works better than my air coolers under load. Comes with thermal compound applied.
Cons: Hoses could be an inch or so longer, but I mounted my RAD outside of the case, it was a stretch but it worked.
Overall Review: After initial install I wasnt impressed, exact same idle temps, but then I put cpu under load and that's when I noticed an 8C difference from my air coolers. For the first time I was able to boot my AMD 965 @ 4.2Ghz, wasnt stable, but w/ correct bios settings it may be possible. Stable @ 4.0 right now w/ 56C load temp. Paired with Asus M4N98TD EVO and a pair of 120x38 fans on the way to replace Corsair's
Excellent!
