Overall great mouse as long as you have the right mousepad

Pros: Very comfortable design. The buttons are easy to reach and the default mapping in Windows works nicely enough. The accuracy is very good as long as you have the right type of mouse pad. The mouse runs a long time on a single set of batteries.
Cons: This mouse is a lot more finicky about the surfaces you can use it on. It doesn't track as well as a regular optical mouse if you are using a standard mouse pad or similar. When I first tried using it on a regular mouse pad, it skipped around a lot and was very hard to use. I got a mouse mat specifically designed for lazer mice (I paid something like $5 at Walmart for it) and that fixed the problem immediately.
Overall Review: The side buttons take a little bit of getting used to due to their size and shape, but it doesn't take long. I've found that I can roll my finger over one to press it and roll my thumb over the other. I've had the mouse for about 3 months now and I'm still on the first set of batteries.
Doesn't work

Pros: None so far
Cons: I plugged it in and set it up properly but none of the ports worked. Some of the ports lit up briefly when I plugged a device into them but none of the devices were recognized. On several ports, the light didn't even go on at all on the others, the light would go on briefly and then go out. I tried it with several USB 3.0 hard drives and flash drives, as well as various USB peripherals and none of them responded. I had to request an RMA and I'm now waiting on a replacement to see if I just happened to get a bad unit.
