Will this card run games like wolfenstein New Order? it requires at least GeForce 460 or HD Radeon 6850.

It should run it with no problem. When there's a doubt, check to see if the on board memory is the same on the newer card as on the older one. A newer card with less memory than what is required will more than likely not work. The 460 and the 710 each have 1gb. I'm running far cry 4 with this card with no problems

My 2-year-old Lenovo M92p says it has an x16 slot (but does not say 2.0).     Am I safe in assuming this card will work on my PC?

You are safe to assume. It works just at 1.0 spree and you won't even notice a difference. I'm doing the same thing and it works great.

Is this compatible with Windows XP?

GeForce cards all use NVidia's drivers from their website. The way to answer that question is if you can download that driver for windows XP on their site.

I am seeing that there is indeed a windows XP driver there still being updated. Though I highly recommend moving from Windows XP as the OS is 16 years old at this point.

Question 4

The description indicates this is a PCI-Express 2.0 interface, but the images show a standard PCI interface rather than PCIe. Can you confirm which interface it actually is?

It is actually a PCI Express 2.0 interface and it fits into a PCI X16 slot. It does not however fill the slot as it is a PCI X4 card. In any event, no worries. It will fit just fine =).

I purchased this card for a upgrade from XP to Win10. My MB would not support a dual monitor set up with the video card I had before the Win 10, so this purchase was an necessity for me. If you are planning to activate the HDMI connector, this card would work out good for you.... because it looks like your in the build of a SUPER MACHINE.

From what I've found on the interwebs, it looks like you certainly can use it. Even if your motherboard has onboard graphics, as long as it has a PCI slot, you can install another video card, and then hust hook up a dvi, vga, or hdmi cable to the video card. This specific card, is called a "plug and play" card, and means you dont need extra power from the power supply to the card via a 8pin cable. Instead, all you have to do is fit it in the front of the PCI slot and boom youre all set!.... So to answer your question yes, it should be able to work, as long as you have a pci slot for it.

Im wanting to play games like PlayerUnknown Battleground. Requires a nVidia 660 2Gb would this be okay for that?

Likely no. The way Nvidia does their numbering schemes is first number is generation (1, 2, 3, 4, etc, up to latest) and the second two numbers are the performance in that generation. So this card is 7 for generation and 10 for performance. 60 to 90 are higher performance, while 10 to 40 are bargain performance. So a 710 underperforms against a 660, but has some 7th generation video card features (Which may not mean much to average consumer).

will this video card work with a dell vostro 260?

Probably will. This card requires a minimum 300 watt power supply which the Vostro 260 has (the Vostro 260S slim tower only has 250 watts so i wouldn't risk trying it there). This card also requires one available PCI Express 2.0 slot.

Question 10

Does the HDMI output audio from computer?  I want to use this as a budget video player instead of streaming from my phone/tablet.

Yes. On my system, its audio works fine, and it didn't even disable the integrated audio from the motherboard. I can use Windows settings to switch between the two sound sources. I have the sound from this card going thru the HDMI cable to my monitor and still can use the motherboard's analog audio outputs, connected to my stereo, when I want some base. I haven't figured out how to have both playing at the same time, though.
