How quiet is the card is there any coiling?

Quiet as a mouse...I don't hear them running. When I play anything graphic intensive the fans speed up but again barely notice them. I have not heard any coil noise ever. I'm running dual Sli.

Is this the same as the gigabyte version that looks the same?

No...this is overclocked and has 11GB of GDDR5X

Technically a reference. It is a stock cooler with a stock clock.

Rev 2.0 was release for the Xtreme Gaming Edition, what is the difference between the AORUS and the Xtreme Gaming Edition? I heard the AORUS is having the same fan issues rev 1.0 had (Who's genius move was that!) and I am leaning towards the Xtreme Gaming Rev 2.0 for this reason.

Other than the enhanced RGB logo, copper backplate, and slightly different fan shroud design, I can think of no other differences.
